Sweet “Sugar” and her litter mate got into a prickly situation on their rural property. 🌵 Their family quickly brought the pups to us for emergency care. We were able to successfully remove all of the cactus spines with the help of general anesthesia, pain medication, antibiotics & teamwork. Pictured here is our loving VTIT Adriana giving Sugar some post-operative snuggles🤍🐾 We made sure they were fully recovered from the anesthesia before sending them home to get lots of rest and recover from this sticky situation. We accept same day walk in appointment sand emergencies from open to close daily. Check out our website for a complete list of services we offer ☀️

SOUND ON 🎵 if you’re a fellow Frenchie lover 🤍 Pictured here is our sweet friend Mutant, volume up to hear his breathing before and immediately after his BOAS procedure. (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) This condition can affect brachycephalic dogs, especially the English Bulldog, the French Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Pug etc. This surgical procedure involves opening the nasal passages and shortening the soft palette. In this way we’re able to maximize airflow through the respiratory tract allowing our brachycephalic breeds to enjoy brighter days and their owners to enjoy quieter nights 😴 Follow along for Mutant’s recovery!

Double check that they have their collars on with updated tags and/or that their microchip information is registered and up to date. 🐾🐶

Keep your furry companions safe by:
✅ Making sure your gates are locked and secure 🔒 and/or by supervising 👀 your pets while they're outside. 🌿
✅Make sure your dogs are wearing their collars with UTD tags 🐾 and/or double check that their microchip information is UTD and current. 🐕

Summer is comin' in HOT 🥵
& it takes only minutes to cause some serious damage to our fur babies 🐾!!

Remember the 7 second rule ⏱ - Press the back of your hand firmly against the asphalt for 7 seconds.
If it's too hot for you, it's definitely too hot for them! ☀️

Do not walk your dog during peak temperature hours. 🌡🕑
The best time for a walk is in the early morning or late evening when the asphalt has had some time to cool. ⛅️

Save your pups paws 🐾 from getting fried this summer by following these tips. 😎
