Tongue’s out for fresh breath!! 😋 sweet Archie recovered very well from his dental prophylaxis procedure! His Momma elected to administer a cerenia injection, an anti emetic medication to help reduce risk of vomiting before, during and after anesthesia. Archie had some moderate gingivitis present with some mild gingival pocketing & it was recommended to perform full mouth radiographs (x-rays) - just like us at the dentist!! 🦷 Good news! This boy comes to us annually for his dental procedure and did not require any extractions today! Inquire today about available products and tools to help manage your pets dental health 🐾

Sweet “Sugar” and her litter mate got into a prickly situation on their rural property. 🌵 Their family quickly brought the pups to us for emergency care. We were able to successfully remove all of the cactus spines with the help of general anesthesia, pain medication, antibiotics & teamwork. Pictured here is our loving VTIT Adriana giving Sugar some post-operative snuggles🤍🐾 We made sure they were fully recovered from the anesthesia before sending them home to get lots of rest and recover from this sticky situation. SOUND ON 🎵 if you’re a fellow Frenchie lover 🤍 Pictured here is our sweet friend Mutant, volume up to hear his breathing before and immediately after his BOAS procedure. (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) This condition can affect brachycephalic dogs, especially the English Bulldog, the French Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Pug etc. This surgical procedure involves opening the nasal passages and shortening the soft palette. In this way we’re able to maximize airflow through the respiratory tract allowing our brachycephalic breeds to enjoy brighter days and their owners to enjoy quieter nights 😴 Follow along for Mutant’s recovery!

Summer is comin' in HOT 🥵
& it takes only minutes to cause some serious damage to our fur babies 🐾!!

Remember the 7 second rule ⏱ - Press the back of your hand firmly against the asphalt for 7 seconds.
If it's too hot for you, it's definitely too hot for them! ☀️

Do not walk your dog during peak temperature hours. 🌡🕑
The best time for a walk is in the early morning or late evening when the asphalt has had some time to cool. ⛅️

Save your pups paws 🐾 from getting fried this summer by following these tips. 😎
