Deadly Respiratory Illness in Dogs Reported Across the Country! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

NBC news reports that Veterinarians are investigating a deadly respiratory illness affecting dogs in various states, seeking clues to understand and address the mysterious condition that has claimed the lives of certain dogs.

It starts with a cough that persists for weeks. This particular illness doesn't go away with regular treatment. Dogs start struggling to breathe and develop severe pneumonia.

SYMPTOMS 🚨

Coughing
Sneezing
Eye or Nose discharge
Abnormally tired
Do not test positive for any common causes of respiratory illness

The likelihood of dogs contracting the mysterious illness increases when they are in close proximity to other dogs.

Avoid places such doggie daycares, dog parks, grooming facilities, or boarding kennels, as Ganzer explains.
