Another day at Dogs by Cindy😊

One of the hardest things about owning dogs is seeing them get old and lose interest in things that used to be so enthusiastic about like mealtime. I think it happens for a lot of reasons, they’re less active, their teeth hurt and I also think eating the same thing for their whole life gets quite boring. My dog is at that age, he’s 14. I’ve always fed him a good dog food but lately he just hasn’t had an appetite for it. For the moment he is eating with great enthusiasm this home made concoction I have come up with so I thought I would share.
1 cup rice
2cups water
2 cups green beans
2 large chopped carrots
2cans skip jack tuna
1 carton Caru stew
1/2 cup Dr. Harvey’s mix
And sometimes I mix cottage cheese into the mix.
Always make sure that the dog isn’t having a medical problem first, but you could always try this too. There are so many things you could put in there, peas, brussel sprouts all kinds of vegetables are good for dogs. I just wanted to share🐶
