We will be collecting supplies for people devasted by flooding in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina at the Tri Star Open Horse Show this weekend. Bring supplies to the Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro Tennessee any time Thursday-Sunday. Lora Schuster will deliver the collect supplies to people in need.

We are so excited to welcome a new lesson instructor to BFQH!

Today we will introduce Heather who will do beginner to advanced lessons! We first met Heather last year when she first moved to the area and worked for a while taking care of the barn.

Heather Brandt, has been riding horses since she was 3 years old, teaching lessons since she was 17 years old, and loving them since she was born. With both an English and Western background her riding lessons focus on balanced riding and building a bond with your horse. Lessons are low key - low stress - no yelling - and full of support and lots of fun !

We are looking for a new lesson instructor for our western program in Lascassas, Tn. Our current instructor got a wonderful opportunity so we will sadly be replacing her in the new year. Our current students are ages 4 and up. Please message me if you are interested in teaching!

We are looking for someone who:
- Is knowledgeable about horses, tack & safety.
- An experienced rider/instructor with an eye for safety.
- Has experience giving lessons.
- Knowledgeable of western pleasure, ranch riding, basic horsemanship.
- Ideally will have show experience in (AQHA, APHA OR ARHA).
- Someone comfortable giving beginner and intermediate lessons to children and adults.
- Must be 18+

ISO part time barn worker in Lascassas, Tn.

We are looking for someone to work part time mainly in the AM with a few PM feedings and weekends.

Job responsibilities:
- feeding
- cleaning stalls (15)
- turn in/ turn out
- blanketing/ unblanketing
- general barn cleaning

Job requirements:
- must be over 18
- must have experience cleaning stalls/ general horse care
- must have reliable transportation

Meet our Saturday instructor, Lindsay!

Lindsay Gilleland is originally from Georgia and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University's Horse Science program. Lindsay has an extensive show record including IHSA, ASHA, NRHA & AQHA competition. Lindsay has worked for some of the top AQHA and NRHA trainers in the industry, and currently operates Lindsay Gilleland Performance Horses out of our barn specializing in AQHA ranch riders and versatility ranch horses.
