Animal Rescue of Lathrop at AT Ranch AROL,Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilites and responsibly re-homes unwanted, abused or neglected, and at-risk horses.

We believe that All animals should be treated with the love and respect that they deserve. We rescue horses and other animals of all types due to neglect, abuse, or by surrender. These animals are cared for medically, physically, emotionally and mentally. They get the care, training and love they need. When they are ready, they are put up for adoption to good, caring people. We never know the number that you will be riding, but it will be on a daily or weekly basis and according to the horses we have here. Today we found these 5 baby owls in the hay barn. They were caught and are being picked up by a friend who is taking them to a wildlife rescue. Listen to the sounds they make. Itā€™s very unique.

Popcorn is a 10yo halflinger gelding who is up for adoption at the ANIMAL RESCUE OF LATHROP. He is 14.2 hands and would make an awesome all around pony club type or great a trail mount for an experienced rider. NOT FOR A BEGINNER !! He is anxious and nervous on the ground, especially around new people. His trust has to be earned and heā€™s extremely watchy around new people; however once you do earn his trust he will go above and beyond to try and please. Absolutlely not aggressive or mean by any means. He has a super smooth trot, seriously You could ride it all day and never get tired. He has been roped off of, does fine out on trails both in groups and alone, and he goes through all the obstacles in our obstacle course with ease. Popcornā€™s adoption fee isšŸ’²ā‘  , ā‘§ ā“Ŗ ā“Ŗ.

Meet *Big J* he is very gentle and broke,stands approximately 14 1/2 h. has been used as a lesson horse on the ranch, and is a great trail horse.He is as sweet on the ground as he is riding him. The Ranch is making room and trying to find Big J a loving family. Come meet him and see if he fits your family. $3,500 call Della for more info or to set up a appointment to try him.
