Pets & Pals Pets&Pals is a nonprofit adoption center dedicated to the welfare and humane treatment of animals This is not your typical shelter.

We sit on a few acres of landscaped, manicured land that houses state of the art dog kennels that are complete with heated floors. Dogs can choose to be on the inside or outside sections of their large, open kennels. There are four play yards that our guests enjoy on a daily basis (two of which even have pools!), and the dogs are treated with attention, chew toys, blankets, and treats. Their runs

are always kept as clean as possible. Our feline residents enjoy a "kitten room" for the rambunctious babies, and large indoor/outdoor cat houses that have heating and air for our "older" kitties. We are open by appointment if you see something you like.

Meet the Christmas Cuties!🎄

Aren’t these pups just adorable? These cuties are part of a litter of 9 born around 10/1/24! We were told they are Border Collie and Malinois, but they are very small, so we feel they may have a smaller breed in the mixture. The pups in this litter will likely be on the medium-size range, so should look like a miniature version of either a Border Collie or Malinois (how fun!) We are so thankful for all of our supporters and adopters. Without you guys we wouldn’t be where we are today. Thank you for deciding to adopt and giving a pup/kitty in need their new furever home. We hope you all have a wonderful day and eat lots of good food.🍽️

These kittens were born around 9/24 and came as a litter of 4. We have started them on their first set of shots and they have appointments on 12/17 for spay and neuter appointments. Kristy currently weighs 25 pounds and is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old based on the condition of her teeth. We can’t be sure of much information about her since she was dumped here at our shelter. She definitely has some Dachshund in her but who knows what breed gave her those striking eyes! Calling all you Boxer fans! This handsome boy is Tucker. He was born on 12/13/19 and currently weighs 66 pounds. Tucker has lived in his home since a puppy, but his previous owners were moving into an apartment and sadly couldn’t take him. Tucker is house trained, good with other dogs and is good with kids of all ages. He is an exuberant dog who is very excited to see people. He rides well in the car and is just a very happy guy who loves to play in water. He knows sit, lay and shake and is leash trained. Tucker is already neutered, so can leave the shelter any time. Meet Sadie!💕

Sadie is a very sweet Rottweiler girl that was found as a stray in Stockton. She has been here at our shelter for 166 days. She can be a bit shy at first, but quickly rolls over for belly rubs once she gets to know you. Since she was a stray we don’t know too much about her, but we think she is about 1 1/2 years old based on her teeth. It doesn’t appear that she has been leash trained, but she is still young enough to train and we think she will be a smart girl. The person who found her said that she rides very well in the car and didn’t make a peep. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to splash around in the pools we have here. Ducky has been adopted!!!🦆

Sweet Ducky was here at our shelter since April. He came in to us after being abandoned at our front door in a crate with 3 other dogs. He was initially very terrified and it was clear that he wasn’t being fed as he was just skin and bones. We have worked very hard to try and get him comfortable with his surroundings since he was so shy - All that hard work paid off! He now has the best parents and we know he’s going to be such a spoiled boy just like he deserves to be. YAY FOR DUCKY!!! 💛

Meet Kaidy!💗

Calling all Border Collie lovers - Kaidy is about 2 years old based on her teeth, though she was a stray originally so we don’t know exact age. She currently weighs 56 pounds. She is obviously very smart which is typical of her breed. Someone must have put some work into training her since she knows how to sit on command. She seems to understand other basic commands like “down” and “no” and is observed being generally very polite. She is very playful and loves to cuddle. Just look at how cute these pups are! We were told they were Husky/Malinois with a bit of Pomeranian. They were born around 7/15/2024. These pups would love to have a home before the holidays so they can grow up with their new family. They are playful and, at this age, they are young enough to learn to get along with other animals in the home. Training is much easier started early. AMAZING NEWS - Jasmine has been adopted!!

Meet Beni! 🧸

Beni is a happy 1-year-old German Shepherd mix. He does have a docked tail so he could be mixed with other mystery breeds. He currently weighs 54 pounds, so he’s on the medium to large side. He is very smart and knows some basic commands such as “sit” already. He was picked by a kind person as a stray, and they had him in their home for about 10 days and he didn’t have any accidents in that time. He got along with all their dogs and cats while he lived there, which is great to know if his next home has resident furry friends to hang out with.
