Lakeview Animal Clinic Lakeview has been providing high quality, compassionate veterinary care for the Latrobe, Greensburg, Stas, Dr. Andrew M. Drs.

Companion animal services include primary care medicine and surgery supported with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and a modern soft-tissue surgery suite. Currently, Lakeview Animal Clinic employs three well-known and respected veterinarians, including Dr. Ronald J. Stas, Dr. Jordan Fairman, and Dr. Beth Ferry. The veterinarians are also supported by an

extensive animal care team, including multiple certified veterinary technicians. Andrew Stas and Jordan Fairman also provide large animal field services to the surrounding area. Small animal primary care services include preventative based medicine, extensive diagnostics (digital radiography, in-house lab, and ultrasound), and soft-tissue surgery. Large animal services provided by Drs. Andrew Stas and Jordan Fairman include primary and emergency field care for both equine and food/fiber animals.

We are sad to say farewell to our dearest friend and loyal employee, Marissa, as her life takes her on a new adventure. Marissa has become a huge part of the Lakeview family and she will take a piece of us with her. Just as she has been an integral part of our practice, we are sure that she will be an invaluable asset to whomever is blessed to receive her into their lives and practice. We know that all of our clients will miss her smiling face and her kind laughter, especially the large animal family that has come to know and love her.
She came to us in her late teens and quickly shined as a person and as a valuable technician. We have watched her grow into the skilled technician that she is today. We admire her boldness and confidence, and learn from her sincerity and empathy. Marissa is the kind of person who is the first to help, and she puts the needs of others above her own.
Although it has only been a little over three years since she started, to each of us, she is a sister, or a daughter, or a granddaughter. Her place in our hearts is permanent and lasting. Even distance will not change that. We are so happy for you to start this new stage of your life.
We love you so much and we will miss you always.

1.) What is your name?
Abby

2.)What is your position at Lakeview?
Veterinary Technician

3.) How many years have you been working at Lakeview?
I have been at Lakeview for just under a year!

4.) What made you want to join the vet med industry?
Since being in kindergarten I have always known I wanted to join this industry. I just loved the idea of working with animals, and helping them in any way possible!

5.) What is your favorite thing about your job?
I love getting to interact with all the patients, and working with my fellow techs and doctors. I know I haven’t been with them long, but everyone treats me like I truly belong there!

6.) What are some of your favorite things to do on your days off?
On my days off I usually like to spend time with my boyfriend, family, and friends. Whether it is just relaxing, or going on some spontaneous trip.

1.) What is your Pet(s) name and Breed?
Gibbs- Pitbull
Trixie- Siamese
Willow- Siamese

2.) How old are your pets?
Gibbs- 2 years old
Trixie- 2 years old
Willow- 8 weeks old

3.) What is something you love doing with your pets?
We love to go on hikes, and walks just around the neighborhood. However, most of all we like to cuddle in bed and relax. As for the cats they are crazy about playing with their toys, but sometimes they like to cuddle as well.

4.) Are any of your pets Rescue’s?
Gibbs is a rescue from VTI. Trixie is a rescue from a broken home. Willow is Trixie’s kitten

Veterinary Assistant & Surgery Technician

3.) How many years have you been working at Lakeview?
I have been at Lakeview for just over 2 years!

4.) What made you want to join the vet med industry?
I grew up in a family who has a big love for animals, so of course I do also. We’ve had dogs, cats, lizards, horses, hamsters, Guinea pigs, frogs, and a few others here and there. I always knew I’d end up in a field with animals, I think everyone around me knew as well!

5.) What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing(s) about my job is knowing I’m doing something that really matters everyday. While being very difficult at times, it’s always extremely fulfilling. Also, you’re constantly learning new things, everyday is a learning experience.

6.) What are some of your favorite things to do on your days off?
On my days off I love to spend time outdoors walking/hiking, hang out with friends, and finding fun thrift stores to shop at!

1.) What is your Pet(s) name and Breed?
Indi- Domestic Short hair, Tuxedo
Apollo- Great Dane

2.) How old are your pets?
Apollo turned 2 in November.
We aren’t sure exactly how old Indi is, but guess around 4 now.

3.) What is something you love doing with your pets?
Apollo and I love going on walks and playing with his favorite toy, a football. Indi and I love napping on the couch together!

4.) Are any of your pets Rescue’s?
Yes, I found Indi as a stray about 3 years ago.

I have been at Lakeview for 4 years.

4.) What made you want to join the vet med industry?
I grew up on a beef cattle farm. We had more than just beef cattle including goats, pigs, dogs, cats, and chickens. I have always wanted to be in a career that revolved around animals. I was involved in Derry FFA where I raised and showed beef cattle. This really pushed me to follow that desire. Therefore, I started VTI following high school graduation.

5.) What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is knowing I am able to be apart of, and assist our doctors in helping our patients well being. I am also extremely thankful for my work team that has turned into family!

6.) What are some of your favorite things to do on your days off?
On my days off I enjoy spending time with my family. We love camping, and enjoying the outdoors!

Blue- Heeler/Collie Mix
Chili- Corgi

Blue is 4 years old
