GAPR has an adoption procedure And please know, that EVERYTHING is by APPOINTMENT ONLY!!! to possibly adopt, email us: [email protected] and we'll be happy to email you an adoption application. It needs to be filled out completely, signed and dated and then mailed back to GAPR via USPS. Please include references and contact them to inform them that we will be calling to speak with them. Once the ado

ption application is processed, one of our volunteers will contact you to arrange a home inspection. once this is completed we will contact you as to whether you've been approved or not, if approved to this point, you will be scheduled in by appointment only, to visit with our rescues and we will be happy to help match you to the right pug rescue that will fit best into your family and home life. there is an adoption fee and it varies dependant on each individual pug rescue.

what an absolutely wonderful morning! I am excited to announce that Buster and MenaJoy both have been adopted today !! And even better yet they have been adopted together to the same house, to the same wonderful person who has adopted several times throughout the years from Guardian Angels Pug Rescue, PA #16989…. Congratulations. Mike Jenner!!! And thank you so much for once again, opening your heart and Home to adopt these two wonderful rescues!

Had to drop Sabrina off at Lakeview Animal Clinic this morning for emergency surgery… you may remember Sabrina had the massive hernia, and surgery to repair that and also have her spayed…. well unfortunately, the skin pocket that was left by fixing a hernia had filled up with fluids and started to granulate. Thanks to Dr. Andy, he went in and cleaned out the area and opened up the drainage hole again. Put her on antibiotics and of course more pain meds. So please I’m asking for prayers for sweet Sabrina to heal completely without any more complications..

Since September 15th, Guardian Angels Pug Rescue, PA #16989 has taken in 9 new rescues!! Each one has needed extensive veterinary care … vaccines, heartworm tests, blood work ups, some needed x-rays, All need to be either spayed/ neutered, some needing other specialty surgeries.
So in the next couple months, I am planning on holding small auctions to help offset all these Veterinarian bills that the rescue is amassing …so I appreciate all your support, donations and generosity!
