OMG! 🤗Where do I start?! So much excitement going on..
I won a cover contest, quarantine, pigeons, baths, sammies and all the love all the time. ☺️❤️❤️First of all I am now an official supermodel just like my parents say I am. I won first price for a petstore and now I’m their cover model. Pretty special. The ladies that own that store they have Dobermans too. Rescue Dobermans. 🥰🥰So later in the week we will go and get a price from them. ❤️❤️
My dad got 😔Covid (he is ok now😌)so then everybody had to quarantine which was so superawesome!!! 🤗❤️I loved it so much. We got more love, more snacks and more time together and that was very nice and good for me and my siblings. We do get the sammies each night and Suzy my smaller older sister, (she is the oldest, the matriarch if you will, see enclosed photo of her) still barks and barks and barks and barks during the sammie making. 😣 Age gave no wisdom to her.
We had Christmas at my house and I got so much love!! ❤️Everybody was loving on me and it was great, ❤️what was not so great was the Christmas bling my adoring mother felt the need to dress me up in. 😑Did not like that. See enclosed photo of that as well. So I do love being in my garden. Mom said that Taz used to chase the lizards but not me I stalk the birds. 🦅 I love to sneak up on them. The other day I was in total stealth mode, walking in super slow-motion, ever so gently placing one paw in front of the other. 😎😏Not one bird knew that I was there, not one! Especially not the fat one that I was stalking. It was so exciting, I was almost vibrating and then just as I was ready to attack..Guess what happened? 😭😤Mother that is what happened. She hollered and the bird flew away. Seriously! Not a good job by her!. I’ll keep trying that’s all. 🤗
After that it was bath time. 😶‍🌫️In the bathtub for the first time. Mother was prepared to wrestle me in there 😂My brother Taz did not like the tub so mother thought I was the same. She brought the towels, shampoo and got a leash for me. 💪🏻Ready for battle! She closed the bathroom door and looked at me and said ready? I said: OK 👌 and jumped into the tub. Wish you could have seen her face. 😅She was so 😯 shocked!
I am such a good, good boy! 😇As mother was bathing me she sang: Miiiicheeeelle my beeeeeeeeeeellle (clearly we have moved on from Neal Young to The Beatles) she really belts out the I love you, I love you, I looooveee youuu. Oy, what I put up with. 😆After the bath I really got the zoomies! Flying around the house and made the couch into a racetrack. So fun. We were all laughing. I click my teeth and sneeze and zoom over and over. The best. I feel happy again. ❤️❤️We always have music here. My dad has a room full of stuff and it is so cool in there with all the lights and the music and the windows rattle from the low tones in his bass. I lay in there and chill in the black lights. I love it! Mother hollers again about not burning the dogs retinas out with the lights. 😂
Anyway that’s it for now. ❤️I am happy here with my new family. They really love me so much. Every night we lay so close and I make my noises. Purr like a big velvety kitty-moose. I love them and we all can’t believe how lucky we are to have found each other. Time for bed so I’m Signing off for this time.

Things are going great. ❤️❤️How ever we did have an incident. 😑
The parents left and forgot to take a bag of garbage and breakfast remnants out. In the bag there was coffee grounds, a bunch of condiment packages that mother had cleaned out, left over salmon and so much more...I would say it was a pretty nice mix of stuff. My older, smaller sister Daisy, she went bonkers, 😳she pulled on the bag, tore it all open, coffee grounds, ketchup and soy sauce and mayo flying all over. She ate the salmon. (did not share and was quite mean about it) I did not do anything, NOTHING, 😇I am such a very, very good boy. I looked so guilty because I did feel very bad about the situation.
🤗And then mother looked at the camera and the culprit was Daisy, I was just standing there being very good and handsome. 😍What else is going on...Oh, my ears are bugging me a little bit. One ear has no cartilage at all it’s just a hole into my head. The other ear has a tiny bit of cartilage and it is so itchy and dry. Mother puts a nice balm on and it feels so good. She gently rubs it in and sings to me. Yesterday she sang Neal Young's “Harvest Moon” which is a fine song to get an ear rub to. It feels so good and I grunt and drool a little 🤤 ❤️Went to vets office. 🙂 Ms Dani washed my ear very nicely. There are a bunch of pups at the vets office. There is Punkie he is like 9 lbs and he growls at me. 😞 Two times now! 😤There is Kingston and Margarite too. ❤️They are nicer than Punkie is. I know that Punkie used to growl at Taz too, so it's not only me. After that to work with mom. ❤️You can see photos of her training me in sit, stay in a superlong hallway at her work. (which is kind of ridiculous cause who does not know sit, stay!?) I kind of like the running part though, I gallop like a wild giraffe mother says. 🙂 Then at the end I smile at her and get a cookie. Very good deal. Some other photos I put in are of the Sammies being made, me being patient🤗 and Suzy barking the whole time. I love my dad! ❤️He is the best.
Also I have developed a bartering system, 😃it works in this way, when they are having dinner and wont give me their food I will simply bring them a toy, set it down, not just willy-nilly set it down. Eye contact 🥸with mother as I canter up to her, important to keep the eye contact while toy is being placed on floor. After that I will give one swift boop with my nose and get a squeak from my squirrel then I smile and thats it. If it does not work I will just keep bringing toys until I get food. 100% fail proof so far. Please see photo of my favorite squirrel. (mother says he is gross) 🤢There is one photo of me on the couch, I am in mid conversation explaining to mother that I need one treat for each toe if we are dremeling. 🤗❤️She agreed to that. ❤️You can see my brother Taz on the wall.❤️❤️It's been one month here with my new family. I have so many names now. 🙂 Sometimes mother calls me Freddy like Freddy Mercury because I hit those high notes 🎶when a police or fire truck drive by and I have like a 5 octave vocal range which is super good they say. I am their velvet singing moose. 😂🤗❤️When I snuggle at night I grunt very low grunts like a baritone, when mom or dad prepares my food I am more in the soprano range. And when I bark I am like an extremely super loud Barry White. Pretty cool I think. How lucky am I that at 9 years of age I get to start a new life and be so loved and how lucky are they that got me?! ❤️There are lots of senior dogs out there looking for someone to love them. Imagine if no-one would have given me another shot at love? 😔That would have been terrible. But things are not terrible they are awesome and I know that this is long but I had so much to say today. ❤️❤️Anyway it's time for bed.

Dobes, Jake Dobes. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. ❤️I am the brother of Taz. 🤗Not brother by blood but brother by heart. ❤ I have been here with my new mom and dad plus 3 new siblings for two weeks now. I am the youngest of this whole crew even though I am 9 years old. ☺️
Yes, you are seeing correctly I have no ears, 😔they were cut off and my parents and the beautiful ladies Ms Ginny, Ms Marinella and Ms Grace from the rescue that saved me don't know why. How ever my parents says that I am a supermodel and I am so very velvety soft. I feel that I am very, very handsome even without ears. 🤗I am an extremely good and smart and kind boy. My favorite things are two squeaky squirrels and every night I bring them to bed with me. I sleep right in between my parents and it's very nice and good. ❤️🥰Sometimes I have my head on dads chest, my squirrels next to me and I have a paw on my mother so she won't feel jelly about the situation. 😆😇There is only one of me so I am trying to take turns and spread the love. 🙂 I have been introduced to a very yummy tradition that my dad does every night and that is blueberry and peanut butter sammies. Had one the first night and now I just love it. ❤️My little sister Suzy barks the whole time 😳when dad makes them and she is a little annoying but oh well... Anyway, we are just getting to know each other here and I have a good feeling. 💕I know that I am home now and never ever have to feel alone or afraid again. Someone said to my new mother: Oh boy, he has some big shoes to fill coming after Taz. And you know what mother said then?? She said: the only shoes he has to fill are his own. Excellent answer I think. I loved that she said that. I know how their hearts hurt so much. It’s almost like I’m rescuing them too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️So that's it for now just wanted to introduce myself, who knows I might write some more another time. My new mom knows I’m a thinker, a philosopher one might say. 🤔

Exactly 5 years ago this heart worm positive street dog with a bullet in his ear changed our lives. ❤️❤️❤️We brought him home with hurricane Matthew knocking on our door. The house was filled with outside plants that was brought in. Really crowded. We had 6 cats and 6 other dogs and it was like Taz was always here. Our hearts still so broken over this loss. He was so kind, sweet, funny and just pure love. Everyone loved Taz. ❤️He made us belly laugh every single day. We love you so Taz and still miss you so incredibly much. Thank you for being ours for a bit. ❤️So here are a ton of photos of him because who would not want to see this gorgeous face! 🤗❤️❤️

After 3 days of endless crying I woke early and thought of going snorkeling. Usually I always wait for David to get home as he works on Sunday mornings but today I called him and said I was going early.
I barely hit any red lights and when I arrived at the beach my favorite parking spot was open. I went to pay for parking and there was already 2 hours on the meter. The ocean was flat and clear. I swam out to the second reef when all of a sudden I see red roses floating my way in the water.
My jaw dropped. Every week I buy roses at Aldi. This week I bought Lilies. As I put them in the vase I said to Taz: “No roses this week Buddy.”It made me smile. ❤️I thought alright Taz show me again. A turtle or a shark. You pick. ❤️
I’m swimming along when I see a Blacktip shark about 4’ away.
I have never ever encountered a Blacktip.
It looked at me for a moment and left. I was just still in the water watching him swim away. Then I thought: Taz it would have been fine with just a regular Nurse shark you know. 🤗Unfortunately I did not get a shot of it. I so wish I had. But I did not move never having been so close to one before. I got a few other shots though so here they are.
I’m glad I listened to Cori this morning when she said: Go! You have to take care of your self. ❤️Thank you my friend for the push. ❤️Thank you universe and my good boy for making my heart lighter. ❤️❤️❤️

Taz died today and left our hearts shattered in a million pieces.
He had a mass on his spleen that ruptured. Thank you to my vet team that always go above and beyond.
I am so grateful to have had the time we had with him. I just hoped we could have him a little bit longer.
He was so funny and gentle and smart and kind and just awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
Rest In Peace Taz. You will be so very missed. ❤️☮️

I did it!!! 🤗🤗I finally did it! 🤗🤗I got the Iguana!! 🦎
And guess who ruined it? 🤨Take one guess! 😑
Mother that's who. Let me tell you what happened. 😌
Mother came home and I ran to greet her really fast❤️ and then immediately I ran back out to the backyard. She knew something was up because my tongue 👅 was almost hanging down to ground she said plus I was laughing and my eyes were sparkling a lot. 😂(I am pretty good looking when I am in my hunting state😎) So she comes out to the pool and sees the Iguana sitting on the vacuum hose. 👀😳Just the head sticking up. My smaller older brother Curley was going absolutely bonkers and it was awesome! ☺️So good and fun. Of course the next step is the hollering: 😖Everyone inside now!! 😞 Inside we went, mother fished Iguana out of pool and put in the bushes so he could run away. Always saving stuff. 🙄After a while they let us out again and that's when it happened. 👊🏼I got him!!! 🦎🦎❤️🤗I was so happy, so very, very extremely happy. 🙃😍🥰🦎🤗I was celebrating by throwing the iguana up in the air and booping it with my nose. 🎉 This baby was 2’ long a big fellow. Then I was stomping it a little bit and it was totally great! Flipped him around, boop and throw. Had a pretty decent routine going if I may say so myself. 🤗Then of course here she comes again. 🙍🏼‍♀️🙅‍♀️For Petes sake what do I have to do to have some fun around here???? In we go again and this time dad puts the Iguana in the front of the house. 😞 So that was ruined. NOT a good job by them. 😐Mother thought for sure that he was dead but he was not and mom and dad were super happy. ❤️I am still keeping an eye out for him should he venture out in the garden again. Hope springs eternal you know. 🙂 ❤️
Then one night we had such a love fest. ❤️❤️They really do love me so much!!! (I mean who wouldn't even though the other people just threw me away which my parents don’t understand at all) So mother is singing to me and it's all nice and good. 🥰(The song has like 457 verses, 🙄drags on a little) She loves me so much that she gets tears in her eyes. 😭❤️❤️It got a little old after a while and I was truly afraid she was going to start ugly crying!! 🙂 🙂 I just had to lay down and stare into space hoping that she would cut it out. (Please see enclosed photo)😂😂
Anyway...it’s evening time and I’m feelin happy. ❤️❤️I have a family that loves me. Siblings that are a tiny bit annoying but I do enjoy the worship part. 🤗🤗😂I’m in a cool house in a clean bed with a full tummy. ❤️☮️🌸I used to be in the rain, heat, thunder and cold. Alone I was too. Mosquitoes bit me and gave me heart worm. I was so sick. But just look at me know. ❤️❤️

It has been a minute since I wrote here in my blog. 🤗
Lots of things have happened. 😃The parents went away AGAIN....😑Feel they go away a lot and somehow there is never sandwiches involved. Why??Why?? 😞 😭😭 just don’t know. I think of it a lot though....😖🤔
My allergies are pretty bad and I have been rubbing my nose so it's all dry and stuff. (Still handsome though) 😎I had to go and see my vet Dr Stephanie, she is awesome and adorbs. I tuck my head under her arm and soak it up. 🥰🥰Plus everyone there is so nice (except Punkie 😑he growls at me and that scares me. He is about 10 lbs but seem bigger to me🤔😱) 😍 I got so many snuggles and love. It was very good and nice. ❤️please see enclosed photo of me after I stepped of the scale and was told I did not have to diet. ☺️Hiding my smile was hard. But I did it. ❤️❤️Oh boy did we have a fun time at 3.30 in the morning the other day. 🤣I had to go to the bathroom so I woke mother up and she got up to let me out. Well all the siblings woke up too. If we think she is to slow opening the door we all bark at her. 😃She does not like that. In fact it makes her a little cranky. 😑She opens the door and like a band of horses 🐎 we gallop through the door. I am like a beautiful stallion as I fly out. 🤗🐎Curley my smaller older brother is more like a baby pony and same goes for my sisters. 🤣👀Anyway I digress. So we run out and you know what happened!? A raccoon🦝 was right there! I mean like right there! The best day of my life. Pretty much! ☺️I got so happy and thought this is very excellent. The raccoon was a little scared and we all chased it and he jumped in the pool! 😖(smart raccoon since I am not entering that death trap) Anyway the raccoon is swimming around and he swam to the edge so me and my siblings, all 3 of them we are barking up a storm at the raccoon and he is hissing and clawing at the edge of the pool while swimming. 🦝😡🦝😅Then of course here comes mother ruining a perfectly good time. She is screaming no, no, no and she is cursing up a storm. Not thinking of the neighbors. A little rude if you ask me. 😳So then my dad wakes. Now we are all running around the pool barking and screaming. 🤗🤣🤗🥰It was so good and fun. My parents they were in their un**es running around screaming. “Get the dogs in! No Taz, No Curley, Nooo” Curley my smaller older brother is a bad a**. (But still annoying) We had such a great time. Then of course mother told us all to go in. Now I am a very good boy and I go inside. 😇Not Curley he is NOT having it he wants this raccoon. 😆So I was like what?! If he is out I'm going out too. ☺️So I did then they yelled at me again. 🙃😑Finally mother ran in and got the leash for Curley. Yelling about the poor raccoon. What? Poor Raccoon?! I don't think so. Dad helped the raccoon out of the pool and of it went. So that was a very good and fun start to the day which strangely my parents did not think.😅
We go for nice walks in the morning. It’s still dark not even a sunrise yet. It’s quiet and I enjoy the one on one with mother. ❤️And she does too. Before our little town wakes up we have a nice stroll. ❤️I went to work with mother and of course out comes the spine! I really do not want to be even close to do that thing. 😳😖I had such a good day today. ❤️🤗❤️I am soooo tired now. I have cream on my nose and took my meds and I’m comfies with a full belly. Today I got love from so many people and that makes my heart so happy and full. ❤️❤️

It’s been a happy weekend. 🤗❤️been keeping very, very busy. 😂The fat squirrel 🐿 has now found a lounging area right in front of the window. 😑😑He is kind of getting on my nerves. 😤All he does is bother me and the birds. 😡Mother says live and let live. So oh well. I’m a good, good boy! 🤗
I’ve been lounging a little bit myself which is a perfect thing to do for the weekend. Even though mother hollered that I was kicking her coffee with my giraffe legs. (Maybe she should not have coffee in the bed) 🤨
Mother was slacking with my organic coconut oil facial so now if it’s not done by 8pm I poke her until it’s done. I love it. And I love getting the love. ❤️❤️I am getting my sammies in a timely manner which of course is an important part of the evening. 🤗I’ve been spooning with my father which is very, very comfies and nice. Mother says I itch her. 🤔😂❤️❤️❤️Oh and my mother put my handsome face on the begging for votes photograph. 😎🤗Now it’s voting for group winner. You can vote every day! So fun and good! 😐Things are not easy if I may put in a complaint Por Favore 😑Yes that is me with a snout mask. 😭😡It is said my nose needs treatment. 🧑🏼‍⚕️I think my nose is fine hence the big stink eye. Plus bath again!!😭😭Mother says that I have to keep my nose out of the bushes plus I might have ran into a cactus. 🌵🤔😂When that fat seed stealing squirrel shows himself😐 (which is all the time these days) there is no stopping me. 😎See photo of me in Squirrel position. I am focused, alert and relaxed at the same time. 😂🤗So fun and nice to be in the yard. ❤️Also I put in my photograph including my handsome face, winning smile and shades! 😎🤗❤️I’m practicing if I get to go in the magazine. You know I moved on to the next level?! Pretty, pretty please go and vote for me. 🤗❤️😎The weekend was so good. Perfect with sammies, naps, lovins’ and I managed to steal a lot of cat food. 🤗😂😂I keep very extreme close surveillance on the cat feeding area. Apparently more so than my parents. 🤗😂it’s awesome.
Our Ms Julia came back after she ran away and she was in such bad shape. So thin. So now they are feeding her small portions a hundred times a day. I think it is all quite wonderful. 🤗❤️Works for me. 🐈‍⬛ Julia eats first and then I swoop in. I always let her eat first, well almost always. 🤗Sometimes I make a move from instinct you know. 🤔🤗

❤️❤️🌸🌸We had a super good day! Gardening, snacking, chasing stuff, lots of air sniffing cause it was sooo windy today. 🤗I did get a lot of love and snuggles. Just as I always do. It’s like Valentine’s every day. 🤗❤️❤️Last night there was no room in the bed for me though. 😑🤨The California king that I love. 😭So I stood there and stink eyed mother until she went and got my big bed from the living room. 😂🤗One has gotten used to a certain standard of living these days. 🤗I’m not changing that now. 😂Tomorrow is going to be super awesome it is my parents 29th wedding anniversary. 🤗❤️So that is going to mean lots and lots of yummy stuff! I just know it. ❤️❤️

I can’t even believe it. 🥰I got so much love for my smiley post and I got so many requests to share the link to vote for me to be in a magazine. 🤗❤️ Oh my heart is so full from you all and the love I am totally soaking it up. Thank you so much. ❤️❤️Love is better than the facial that I had to undergo today. 😐Trust me I did not have my handsome face on at all I had my sad, torture face on. 😡😱😨😂There was oatmeal shampoo that stayed on for ever and then organic coconut oil that was gently slathered on my nose and face. (I kind of like that but not showing it cause I feel I get more treats looking miserable. 😂) Mother says I stick my face everywhere and I get so itchy and dry. So I know she is helping but come on man! 😐🤗😭

Happy weekend! ❤️it’s been so very beautiful and good. A little bit cold. 🤗We go on our walks before mother goes to work. It’s super early and I am a very good boy and I wait at home while she walks Daisy, Suzy and Curley. ❤️🐕🐕🐕I stay at the window to make sure that I’m ready when she comes back. We have such a nice walk. It’s still dark and so quiet. I sniff every thing. It’s peaceful because Assault Chihuahua from hell is still sleeping. 😃So no attempted murder first thing in the morning. There is an open lot next to the road during our walk. We always stop there and look to the east and watch the sunrise. Mother says it’s a good way to start the day. To be grateful. ❤️❤️And I am so grateful. So that’s super easy. 🤗❤️
I have started this new thing that when mothers car pulls in the driveway I howl so very loud and good. 😄😊😮And then when she walks in she screams: Beagle! 🤨And then I play bow and she play bows. (She says she is going to bust a hip one of these days)😂Mother says she loves my smile so she took 500 pictures of me smiling the other day. I must say it is very fun and good to laugh with my parents. ❤️
Oh and mother, you know what she did?! 🤗She entered me in a contest. ☮️Maybe I will be in a magazine and my rescue story will be told to show that you should take a chance on a 4 year old heart worm positive 😔Doberman boy with a bullet in his ear.

And now it’s the weekend and it’s going to be awesome with lots of time in the yard and with my parents. They eat dinner in the backyard and that is so awesome. ☺️My head fits perfect on the edge of the table. 🤗☺️the inside table is a high top (dad says dog proof) it’s nice at night in the garden. I feel it the good vibe. ☺️❤️🧡The sunset makes colors every where. It’s so nice and good. ☮️❤️Sometimes we just stand and look at the sky and I lean my head on mother or my father. It’s good, really good.

Because he was so sick and neglected. A rescue saved him and he came to us the day a hurricane was supposed to hit. We had 5 other dogs and 6 cats and he blended right in. I have had quite a few experiences some happy and some less joyous. 🤨I have been practicing my pleading look for more snacks.😎☺️😂I really like the look I have in the close up pic, 😭😔so sad and forlorn (again mother says I’m dramatic, whatever!) 🤗From the look in that photo it looks like I have a tear in my eye but it’s really an eye bo**er. 😂Which is awesome. So another very, very, very bad experience I had was when mom said let’s go get a snack 🤗❤️🥰and I was so happy and good 🥰🤗and thought this is the best day of my life and then I got a carrot. 😳😱I was staring at the carrot and mother for a long time. I was quite offended and I’m just praying it won’t happen again. Just horrible. 😑 I had to go to the vet! 😱They had to freeze something on my leg and it was super cold and I was just a such an amazingly good boy with my handsome face on the whole time. 😎☺️And then I look over to the cages and what do I see three raccoon babies!! Omg! I was stunned thought maybe I could have one after the freezing thing was over cause I’m such a good boy. But no, something about they were rescued cause their mama died and I got so sad for them so I did not even do a bark on them. I’m a such a good boy. ❤️
I got to lay in my bed in the sun all day and then of course Curley my smaller older brother came. He is always following me around and I let him cause look at that face, just look at it. 🤗❤️
I’ve been getting my sammies please see photo of us patiently waiting except for Suzy who is 6 lbs of loudness and barks the whole time. 😳🤨I have been in the garden a lot and napping and having snacks and chasing the squirrel who is getting a little fat from all the birdseed. Life is good. ❤️☮️And I am grateful for my family all my brothers and sisters even though they steal my toys and annoy me sometimes. Today was such a good, good and happy day spent it the whole day in the garden with my peeps. They are making another butterfly and hummingbird garden. Which I like to watch the birds too. I just watch them never hurt them. I’m happy for my good day today. I have a full belly and a clean bed and I have love. 🤗❤️I hope that you had a good day too! ❤️All the love to you from me your good, good, good boy.
