We Need Your Help to Continue Our Animal Transports!

Yesterday, we transported another 100 cats to safety. These cats were not only from our Rescue, but other rescues and also included several cats from two local county shelters. We transported cats with fiv, felv and also special needs cases to safety and a new life

Unfortunately, we did not have a volunteer driver for this trip, which resulted in costs totaling $1,800 for drivers and approximately $1,500 in gas. Please note that these amounts do not include the cost we incur for vetting, dentals and health checking these animals.

We are facing an animal epidemic in South Florida. Everyone wants to send cats but no one really understands the costs involved.
-Last week 150 cats left, there were three stops and Bella’Promise paid $3,500
-This week 100 cats left, there were two stops, we paid $3,300
- Next week is flight where we hope to send over 240 animals. Wings Of Rescue sponsors the flight.

Currently, we are running low on essential supplies, including vaccines, SNAP tests, deworming medications, and microchips.
Winter is a crucial time for our efforts, as we have the opportunity to transport more cats during this period. We have a significant flight planned for next week, which is intended to help these animals find new homes.

Transport is essential not only for saving these animals' lives but also for creating space for all of us to assist more animals in need. Our transport departed at 6 AM yesterday and by 6 PM the same day our shelter was full again.

There are SO may animals in need!

While our team remains dedicated to this mission, we are facing financial challenges and need assistance to continue our work. We appreciate any support you can provide, even if it's a small donation, to help us reach our goal of $3,500 for transportation costs and supplies.

TRANSPORT and SPAY/NEUTER are fundamentally the only way to navigate this animal crisis.

Eddie was found in the rock pits, an animal dumping ground in Miami where so many pets are abandoned. He was the kind of dog who gets overlooked in shelters and easily could have waited a long time for a chance.

Some of our volunteers took him out to eat recently, like we sometimes do to help our dogs get noticed. Eddie immediately caught the eye of the waiter, and the two connected right away. The waiter ended up adopting him a few days later.

Eddie finally has the forever home he deserved. 🖤

Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation is participating in Operation Kit Stop, generously supported by Wings of Rescue, to offer free spay and neuter surgeries for TNVR cats and cats owned by low income residents.

Appointments are limited—schedule your pet’s surgery as soon as possible to help keep them healthy and happy!

As part of Operation Kit Stop, your pet will receive a spay or neuter surgery, flea meds, FVRCP and rabies vaccine at no cost.

Guppy is a 5-month-old Labrador Retriever / Dalmatian mix with the sweetest, happiest puppy energy.

He is:
• friendly and social
• playful and curious
• great with other dogs
• loves to run, wrestle, and make new friends
• good with kids

Guppy is still a puppy, so he’s learning and growing every day. He would do best in a home that’s ready for typical puppy things like continued training, structure, and lots of playtime. Now Hiring: Veterinary Technician at Saving Sage Animal Rescue!

Are you passionate about animal care and looking to make a difference? Saving Sage Animal Rescue is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our busy team.

Position Responsibilities:
• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Multitask effectively while maintaining high standards of care
• Maintain accurate records and thorough notes for each animal
• Administer daily medications as prescribed
• Comfortably work with dogs and cats of various temperaments
• Draw blood samples and perform f***l examinations with precision

Qualifications:
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred
• Applicants with relevant experience in the veterinary field are also encouraged to apply
