Hedgewood Farms 12 acre horse farm with a large indoor, outdoor ring and grass turnout. Hedgewood Farm is a local equine facility located in Laurel, New York.

Managed by trainer Dawn Hommel, Hedgewood is a family orientated barn that offers English lessons, boarding, showing, leasing, and camps for all ages.

Looking for summer activities for your little ones? Our pony camp 🐴 🏕️ registration is open, details and dates below! Also, for year round riding for anyone interested in learning how to ride or getting back in the saddle, call us at 631-926-3118 to book a lesson or schedule a tour of our barn!

Pony camp is available M-F, 8:30-12:30, $500/week
Includes riding and horse care lessons, and summer activities and crafts
June 30-July 4
July 14-18
August 18-22

Looking for a way to compete while being part of a team? Check out the IEA program offered at Hedgewood Farms!! Hedgewood Farms offers both a High School and Middle School IEA team. The IEA program involves a weekly group lesson per team, and 5 competitions in the regular season. For more information contact Hedgewood Farms’ IEA Coordinator, Bethany Clark at 631-445-1128.

We’d like to congratulate Keva Leonard and “Take Notice” on their qualification for the 2024 USHJA Zone 2 Hunter Championships in the Children’s Hunter Ponies Large division. was once again at it in our Happy Place at HITS Horse Shows!! We had a successful week two of showing at HITS Hudson Valley VI. Our team cleaned up as we soaked up our last days in the Hudson Valley! Check out our highlights ⬇️!

☀️Sydney Woychuk & Dasset Ricochet had a successful weekend moving up to the Junior Hunters 3’6” earning ribbons out of a competitive group and finishing 9th in the Classic.

☀️Isabelle Debay & Number Nine earned ribbons in their Junior 1.10m Jumper rounds through the week to finish 12th in the Junior 1.15m Classic.

☀️Jessica Duva & Ulita has a successful first outing in the Amateur 1.20m Jumpers.

☀️Keva Leonard & Take Notice took their second tricolor to finish Champion 🏆in the Children’s Hunter Pony Large, winning 🥇 the HITS Children Hunter Pony Final Large Model, and finishing 8th overall.

☀️Benjamin Morris & Jupiter VD jumped to successful rounds in the Junior Hunters 3’6” to finish 6th in the Classic.

☀️Abby Curran & Harvey had their USHJA National Hunter Derby Debut, finishing just outside the ribbons, as well as having successful rounds in a competitive Small Junior Hunter 3’3” division.

☀️Jillian Sirico & Julius Monday earned ribbons with successful rounds in the Adult Eq 2’ and the Pre-Adult Hunters. Additionally Julius Monday took home a 4th with Sydney Woychuk in the irons during a competitive Training Hunter U/S.

☀️Catherine Zack & Platinum Teaspoon earned ribbons in the Maiden Equitation and Pre-Child Hunters.

☀️Leela Dilmaghani & Infinity’s First Impression rode to some ribbons in the Maiden Equitation and Pre-Child Hunters.

☀️Julie Bodenstein & Livius had success in the Low Children’s Hunter Horse Division.
