Really cool drake and hen mallard mount by Allen Taxidermy. The hen is a very rare bird. A hen that no longer has the ability to breed and is changing to male colors. (Hermaphrodite). Very rare to have happen but make for a really interesting mount.

Getting as many of these euros and horn mounts finished up and out the door in time for Christmas. Didn't get pics of everything before it got picked up. But figured I'd share some of Allen Taxidermys work. Elk just came out of the clean boil and still need to be whitened plus sealed then mounted on plaques. Also a few late drop off deer still to do. Then onto birds and fish. This year is keeping me busy and it feels good.

Few things wrapped up hear in the shop this week just in time to head out for the opener this weekend. Plan to go into a place I haven't been in 10 years. Killed my first ever bull with a bow there and with any luck will be listening to buggals in my bed tonight. Definitely better then this city noise. Allen Taxidermy wishes everyone luck this season.
