Outdoor Adventure: Take your retriever(s) on an outdoor adventure. Whether it's a hike, a beach trip, or a local park, retrievers love to explore and play in natural environments.

Fetch and Retrieval Games: Since retrievers are known for their retrieving abilities, engage them in some fetch games. You can use a ball or a favorite toy to play fetch and let them show off their natural skills.

Donate or Volunteer: Consider donating to or volunteering with a local animal rescue or shelter in honor of National Retriever Day. It's a meaningful way to give back to dogs in need.

Today is and here's a great tip on leash walking: Proper leash walking is an important part of establishing a good relationship with your dog. Keep your leash loose, as a tight leash will only encourage your pup to pull. If your dog is regularly taking you for a walk then you've got some work to do!
