Hi everyone, the next several days are going to be the coldest weather we have had in a while. For the safety and well-being of our horses and students, we are canceling lessons and lease rides. We will run camp on Monday. Thank you for understanding! Stay warm!

Is your child's school closed tomorrow, Wednesday the 8th? For those looking for something for their kids to do, we are hosting a Mini 1-Day Camp at our Columbia location! The cost is $130 and open to our students and previous camp kids. With Anne Arundel and Montgomery counties closed, this will be a great day to come play with the ponies in the snow! Limited spots available.

Evening lessons and lease rides starting at 5pm are canceled for Tuesday, January 7th. Lessons and leade rides will be scheduled as normal on Wednesday, January 8th. We hope everyone is enjoying the snow!

Do you love spending time with horses and working with some fun people? We are looking for an adult with horse experience to help at least one night a week and on Sundays. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, bringing in horses, feeding, watering, supervising working students, helping riders, and other typical barn duties.

Morningside Stables partnered with Clover Luck Stables this past Sunday to host our first IEA show at our Columbia location! Saying it was a success would be an understatement! We are incredibly proud of our team for their great rides and help all weekend from helping hold horses to cheering on their teammates! Morningside was champion for the middle school team and third for the highschool team! We are grateful to have such an awesome group of horses! They all were sooo good! Thank you to the judge, steward, and the other teams who came out to show and of course all of the volunteers for their help, this wouldn’t have happened without them! We look forward to hosting again in January! 🖤💛🤍
