We would like to get this old gal back to her family today. Found near Mt Carmel Rd near Gray Court /Ftn Inn. Sleeping in the middle of the road. She is deaf as a doornail. 😬

She is safe, warm and fed today for Christmas. Please share and reach out if you know this dog.

This still seems unreal to say, but it is with great sadness that we inform you of the unexpected passing of our friend and co-worker Alison King. If you have called the office in the past several years, you have likely heard Alison's kind voice and laughter.

Alison will be missed, but we take comfort that Alison knew Jesus Christ as her Savior and was UNASHAMED to say so.

Please keep Alison's family and our Holmes Vet Family in your prayers.

We will be closed the remainder of the week Thursday - Saturday to take time to rest, reflect and be with our families during this time of Thanksgiving.

Our time on this Earth is precious. Please don't take it for granted.

Day 7. We are fully up and returning to somewhat "normal".

I wanted to take a moment and thank some people.

-The linemen that are still working round the clock to get society back to a level of civilization.
- All the helpers - the churches, the organizations, the earthly authorities, the people of Laurens that have come together.
- MY STAFF - These guys are a blessing and I am so thankful that we have a group that cares about each other and cares about our community. They have showed up and taken care of business this week!
- Trinity Ridge Animal Health for storing and protecting our perishables this week and being the colleagues we were meant to be.
- Westview Pet Services for constantly taking my calls and showing up each time with speedy and compassionate service.
- Our clients - for their patience and cooperation. We love you and your pets!

Day 6 1/2 ... power back on! We are fully up this afternoon and working hard to tidy up. Please still emergency only this afternoon. We have recovered an injured dog from in front of Milliken plant on Highway 14. Brown male dog with collar, no tags or chip. Sadly, he had suffered a devastating injury and we have helped him the best way we could. Our phones are up, if this is your dog, please call to claim. We would like for someone to have closure.
