Quick update on the farm…it’s pruning time! Any and all volunteers welcome 😂
Also, we are in the process of putting in a pond. Progress is slow but will be 100% worth it.

Tonight was a new record for us. We harvested 1599 flats (6 oz). That is almost 7200 lbs in one day and we didn’t even finish. This time last year, we didn’t even have one berry. Praising God!

Cooler is hopping tonight! Over 900 flats picked today. A truck has been there since 2pm to load them up for delivery to Kroger in Michigan.

It’s that time again where I share some delicious blackberry desserts! Tonight’s easy dessert starts with a store bought angel food cake layered with strawberries and blackberries (tossed in some sugar to create some yummy juice). Top with cool whip and enjoy!

Our first flat of 2021! This year has not been short of its fair share of bumps in the road but God is providing. Our first harvest is a few weeks later that normal due to a late frost but a month earlier than we thought it would be.

Pray with us that the tropical weather coming our way will be gentle and everyone and all crops will be safe!
