We are hosting our first 🌱PROP SWAP🌱 this Saturday, Oct 11th from * 2:00-4:00! *

We will have space set aside for people to bring cuttings, divisions, pups....anything you'd like to trade for free. We will have a fun mix of our own propagations to swap around!

Some examples- Tropicals like:

•Whale Fin Sanseveria •Elephant Tongue
•Pregnant Onions •Spineless Prickly Pear Pads
•Purple Oxalis •Basket Plants aka False Bromeliad
•Cast Iron Plants and more!

As well as a few easy to plant Garden Divisions!

It's just about that leafy time of year. This is a great visual of the hidden world inside the layers of fallen leaves. 🍂

-We grow the majority of our plants from seedlings, cuttings, seed, tubers, bulbs, bare-root, air-layering and garden divisions.

-Most are overwintered outside using composted leaf mulch in a custom potting soil recipe much closer to our native soil than fluffy peatmoss blends. It reduces transplant shock and establishes extra hardy roots for planting tried and true garden favorites, native plants, shrubs, and trees well into November.

🌻Some fall suggestions to go with or in leui of traditional Mums, check out native Aromatic aster and garden friendly native Goldenrod species! They are gorgeous and support so much life before winter! 🦋

OTHER INFO: Please park in our gravel parking areas. Do not park in coned-off areas or blocking any neighbor's driveways. Please do not park on 13th street. Children must be supervised and not climbing on anything including the waterfall or rock walls. Dogs are welcome if on leash and well-behaved around our dog and cats. Thank you!

The Goldenrod Crab Spider (Misumena vatia) are so vibrant they almost glow. They are an amazing little garden ally to stumble upon! What a beauty. 💛
