KC Corn Dog will be on the farm this Friday! Sneak peek for Holiday Open Barn starts at 2 o’clock!! Come out and eat a dog on a stick while shopping from 40+ local artist. Then have a warm cup of apple cider and sit by the fire for a while.

We invite you to join us for a campfire meal, serving both late lunch and dinner options. Please peruse KC Corn Dog's menu below at your convenience.

While having a bite to eat, you can shop the wares of 40 local artists showcased in the barn and on the terrace before or after your meal.

The Big Day

A quick peek 👀 at what’s brewing for Holiday Open Barn.

Today is bag and tag! I love this part of making art, especially adding the finishing touches to smudge sticks. Dried flowers are the perfect ‘bow’. Getting ready for Holiday Open Barn in November.

Perfect colors for an August wedding! Thanks ACA Rental and Sunflower Rental, Flowers by Owen’s Flower Shop.

Perfect weather for rust dyeing. Buffaloes and sunflowers are only taking a few hours to complete. Over the next few days, I will do the finishing touches with some paint and fabric dye. Holiday Open Barn is only three months away!!

Sorted a few large calves this morning that needed some attention. The guys watch carefully for eye issues and an occasional wart. Of course Beau has to supervise all.

Historic Taylor Barn

Historic Taylor Barn is unique limestone barn built in 1879 by Eben Baldwin and German masons that once held stalls for 30 head of horse and a capacity of 80 tons of hay. The farm has been owned by the Taylor family since 1947 and is currently a working farm owned by Debi & Charles Taylor. In order to utilize the barn and share its beauty with the community, Historic Taylor Barn hosts an annual event the first weekend in November, called Holiday Open Barn, where local artists set up booths to sell and share their work with the public.
