We had a great time at IEA Regionals this weekend. Lots of ribbons competing in large competitive classes and lots learned!

Zoe Leinwand placed 🥇 in Future Intermediate Fences and will move on to zones at Albion!

Other highlights include:

-The highschool team took 4th (lots of ribbons earned by team members Kate Jones, Violet Eavey, Brittany Bennett, Maddie Lamb)

-Sylvia Martin made it into call backs out of 20 for Future Novice Flat placing 🥉

-the middle school team earned many ribbons in competitive classes (Zoe Leinwand, Sylvia Martin, Harper Babb, Zoa Vandermeeden)

-Savannah Sculfield pulled a 6th in future beginner walk trot.

We are so proud of all our riders, congrats on a great season! Thank you to all our wonderful show parents for supporting your riders through the season.

**Winter Series Announcement!**

We are canceling the winter series show that was going to be hosted next Sunday, February 16th. One of our team members is out with knee surgery on Thursday. We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to see you in March!

Shout out to Harper Babb for the win in both middle school Crossrails jump and flat today at Willowbrooke to become high point rider! We are so proud of you!

Harper is one of our many IEA riders who qualified for regionals this year. Both the middle and highschool hunt seat teams also qualified. We can’t wait for Regionals!

We finally got our photos back from WEC in December and they turned out great! Our show team had a great week at WEC in the beginning of December. Highlights included:

O'Scarlett and Sarah Stancati earned 7th place in both the $500 Intermediate Jr/Am Adult Classic and $500 Novice Jr/Am Jumper Classic in the Sanctuary, and several ribbons in the Intermediate Adult Equitation.

Puggles and Zoe Leinwand made their 2'6" debut earning a 4th in the WEC medal and 5th in the Low Children's hunters. They also earned several other ribbons in the Non-Pro Hunters and Low Children's.

Water-Melon Sugar & Abigail Salyer made their WEC debut and finished the weekend with several ribbons including a 3rd, 4th, & 5th in the Opportunity short stirrup 2'.

Blueberry Muffin & Sylvia Martin earned several ribbons including two 5ths and an 8th in the large Future Hunter 2' division, and 2nd, 3rd place, & 4th place in the Opportunity short stirrup 2'.

Nilla Wafer & Lena Mullins came out with several ribbons including a 3rd & 4th in large Future Hunter 2' division and three 4ths in the 11 & under equitation.

We are so proud of all our riders and their accomplishments this season! A HUGE shout out to Violet Kaplan-Neumann for being the best groom while we were there. Walter, Blueberry, and Scarlett all made huge strides in their growth and training with their riders this year. We can't wait to see what this year holds!

We would like to congratulate the Leinwand family on their purchase of Demi “Lovato”! We are very excited to watch this pair grow and take on the show ring. 😍 she’s a smart and sweet mare and is already a barn favorite.

Shout out to our IEA team for not only working incredibly hard hosting our show today, but also for the highschool team coming out with champion and the middle school team with reserve champion! We had many great placings today with Zoe Leinwand and Kate Jones ending in the running for high point rider with 2 firsts both. On to tomorrow we go!🐴

Happy thanksgiving 🍁🦃 we are incredibly grateful to have such a great group of people who take great care of our horses! Although we are missing a few (Alexus, Jenna, Mj, Nico) they are such a great team and kicked through chores today.

We are also grateful for our wonderful clients, and animals tall and small. We are so grateful for all our Cedar Lodge Family! Have a great day!

We had a great adult trip to WEC Ohio last week! There were lots of great rounds and learning for horses and riders. We head back to WEC next week with another group and can't wait!
