We are incredibly proud of our horses and riders and their growth last weekend at Lake Effects Horse Shows at Waterloo Hunter/Jumper Shows! Not only did they all ride well, but they also supported and cheered for each other the entire weekend!

Riding highlights included:

⭐️ Demi and Zoe laid down a beautiful round in the 2’6” Non Pro Hunter Derby riding to a 2nd place finish. Yasmin and Monaco also had a wonderful round in the Non Pro Derby riding to 4th place.

🥇 Zoe and Demi were Champion in the Limit Equitation & Reserve Champion in the Children’s hunters. They also won the mini Maclay and earned a 2nd in the LEHS Mini Medal.

🏅 Yasmin and Monoco were Reserve Champion in the Adult Hunters, and earned a 2nd place finish in the LEHS Adult Medal.

🥇 Sylvia and Blueberry were Champion in Novice Equitation, and earned 1sts in the Novice Eq, Pony Hunter, AND the Novice hunter flat classes! They also earned a 2nd in the Novice Eq over fences in a competitive class.

⭐️ Madison and Champagne Divinity made HUGE green pony improvements together and earned two 4th places in large flat classes in Novice Equitation & Maiden Hunter. They also laid down a beautiful round earning 4th in the Maiden Hunter OF class.

🥇 Clara and Puggles won a Children's Hunter over fences class with a great round and a earned 2nd in the Limit Equitation flat! They also rode to a 3rd place in the LEHS Mini Maclay.

We cannot thank our parents and riders enough for such a wonderful weekend. We are lucky to have such a wonderful Cedar Lodge family of students, parents, and horses! Watching growth from every horse and rider combination this season has been incredible. Next up: the Cedar Lodge LMHJA August Horse show!

The Cedar Lodge Show Team had a great time Sunday at Alpine Ridge Farms for their summer schooling show! Lots of young horses got out and about and new horse and rider pairs. We congratulate all of our riders on a great weekend!

Another great weekend at our LMHJA Horse show! Our horses and riders all showed great growth and learned through the weekend. Thank you to everyone who helped run our show and to those who come!

Highlight Includes:

The Memorial Masterclass Champion was Zoe Leinwand and Yasmin Pirbhai earned 3rd out of 18.

Kenny & Kennedy Posthumus placed 2nd in the Handy Hunter out of 25 riders.

The Limit Medal Champion was Sylvia Martin, with Cynthia Pietras in 2nd, Charlotte Wilson in 3rd, and Harper Babb in 4th.

Harper Babb and Ethan earned Reserve Champion in the Limit Equitation and Hunters

Yasmin Pirbhai was the Schooling Equitation & Medal Champion

Zoe Leinwand & Demi Championed in the Special Equitation 2’6” and Reserve Championed in the Special Working Hunter 2’6”.

Basic Ring:

Arlo Parker & Percy were WT Hunter & WT Equitation Champion

Green as Grass Champion was Mister Mischief & Savannah Sculfield & Reserve Champion was Nilla Wafer & Briley Murphy-Dubay

Nilla Wafer and Autumn Johnloz were WT Crossrail Reserve Champion

WTC Crossrails Reserve Champion went to Ellie & Cloe Johnson

Beetle Juice and Zoey Davis took Champion in both the Crossrails Equitation & WTC Crossrails

Loki & Savannah Sculfield were Reserve Champion in Crossrails Equitation

Snickers Bar & River Reich were Pony Hunter Reserve Champions

Blueberry and Sylvia Martin earned Reserve Champion in the Pony Hunters

Luna and Violet earned 2nd in Special Working Hunter and a first in the TIP Special Hunter 2'6". They not only had their showing debut but also their 2'9" debut.

Macho Man & Sarah Stancati were Low Hunter Reserve Champion and Champion in the TIP Low Hunters.

Forever Smile and Kendra Edwards were Reserve Champion in the Low Hunter

Level 6 Jumper Champion was O’Scarlett & Sarah Stancati

Dundee & Shelby Jorriy rode to a 1st and 3rd place in the Novice Hunters

Monkey and Kali were 1st in the 2'9" US.

Ollie and Kali won Power and Speed out of 13.

Baby Maple and Kendra rode to 2nd place out of 10 in Special Working Hunter US

Forrest and Ashley jumped to 2nd place out of 13 in Limit Hunters. Ivy earned a 5th in TIP Very Green Hunters US

Jasper and Sarah flatted to a 3rd place in the Schooling Hunter US out of 13.

We are absolutely amazed at all the improvements that our horses and riders showed last weekend! We will see you in August!

We had an incredible first LMHJA show at home with our horses and riders. There were many new horse and rider pairs and we are so so proud of how everyone did! Thank you to all the people who came out to help all weekend and those who came to show!

Rider highlights included:

-Zoe Leinwand and Demi were Champion in the Schooling Hunter and Special Equitation. They also won the Special 2'6" medal

-Charlotte Wilson & Will were Champion in the Limit Hunter

-Sarah Stancati and Scarlett took home Champion level 6 jumper, Macho was champion in the Low Hunters and the TIP 3'. Jasper made his summer series debut in the hunter ring.

-Kennedy Posthumus and Kenny were reserve champion in Schooling Equitation.

-Sylvia Martin won the Limit Medal and was Champion in the Limit Equitation

-Zoey Davis & Beetle took home Champions in the Crossrail Equitation and WTC Crossrail Hunter. She also won the Crossrail Medal

-Allison Layman and Chilli were Champion in WT Crossrail Hunter

-Savannah Sculfield and Loki were champion in Green as Grass WTC

-Briley Murphy-DuBay and Nilla were Reserve Champion in Green as Grass wtc hunter poles.

-Abigail Salyer and Walter secured 2nd in Pony Hunter over fences 3rd limit equitation. They had a successful first show in the big ring!

-Harper Babb and Ethan were 2nd in a competitive Limit working Hunter under saddle class and pulled many other ribbons.

-Arlo Parker and Percy were Reserve Champion in the WT Equitation

-Kali Edwards & Ollie were Reserve champion in the level 6 jumpers. Kali also was 2nd in the Coaches Classic and 5th in the Memorial Masterclass with Monkey.

-Kendra Edwards and Leroy took Reserve Champion in the TIP 3'. Maple was great in her flat classes.

-Shelby Jorriy & Dundee, Cloe Johnson & Ellie, and River Riech & Snickers laid down great rounds in the basic ring earning many ribbons.

-Ivy and Forrest and Yasmin and Monaco earned ribbons on the flat in the hunter ring. Cindy and Dom had a great show day on Saturday in the 2'!

-Anna had her leadline debut!

Hey Cedar Lodgers,

I had a woman email me that owns a local stable. She said she was approached by someone selling some "high end" tack. This person was not a horse person, but said they had found it in the trash in Benton Harbor. She was reaching out in case any local barns had found any of their tack missing. Please let me know if you are missing anything.
