A couple of things I wanted to post..
1. How a groomer knows it's almost spring time, by the bandana fabric that is now out!

2. I love my bow makers packaging!

3. Thank you to everyone who has brought extra grocery sacks in. We appreciate it so much!!

4. This week has been crazy busy, as it was our first week back after vacation. If you do not reach us on the phone, please leave a message so we can return your call as soon as possible. We are booked until the end of Janaury beginning of February. If you need to schedule an appointment please reach out to me so I can get you in the book for our soonest available.

If you have extra plastic grocery sacks at home that you won't use, we can definitely use them at the shop. Just bring them in the next time you're scehduled or drop them by the shop during business hours. Thank you!

Because our 3rd annual Deck the Paws Christmas Parade has been cancelled due to the incoming weather Saturday, I would still like to have a winner this year to win the giveaway gift that would have gone to our parade winner.

So here's how it's going to work!

Dress your furbaby up in their Christmas best or however you would have dressed them for the parade and snap a picture of them. Submit that photo below. I will then share these photos with the public to choose a winner. The furbaby with the most likes on their photo will win the giveaway prize that would have gone to the best dressed at the puppy parade! You have until December 18th to submit those photos below! Santa for Seniors donations are not where they need to be in the final week of donations. Pet Palace is asking our clients to bring in any non persiahble food items, or any other items listed below. There will be a box set up in the hallway. Lets all check our pantries! I'm sure each of us has at least one food item we can live without right now, that are senior community could certainly use more than us!

Well guys, it’s Monday of our final week of Santa for Seniors and – as is normally the case – it looks dreadfully dismal!! We have NOWHERE NEAR enough food for all of our applicants – and we could really use some more help! We will be working in the basement of the Lawrence County Senior Citizens Center on Centennial Boulevard throughout the day – and every day this week. If you could possibly pick up a bag of non-perishable food and drop it by, we would be so very grateful!!! We also need a LOT of throws and blankets, and about 30 heaters – along with a lot of other items. We are so appreciative of everything you do to help these overlooked residents in our community!!

We are into our final grooming days before we are closed from Christmas through New Year, 2024! If you are still in need of a grooming appointment for your furbaby before Santa Paws arrives, please message or call tomorrow. I have very, very few spots left! We will be closed for the holidays from Saturday December 23rd through Monday January 1st. We will reopen Tuesday January the 2nd at 8:30 am. Clients have already began booking into the new year so please keep that in mind as well. The best way to guarantee your next grooming slot is to pre book at pickup of your current appointment. You all have made my 1st year as the offical owner, finally, of the Pet Palace an extrodinary year, and I am so grateful for you all!
If we do not see you before the holidays, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year too!!!

Hello everyone!

I wanted to get on here and address the canine URI (upper respiratory infection) that has been catching some news this past week. First and foremost, I have been taking extra precautionary measures when it comes to cleaning and sanitizing my kennels, leads, blades, sissors, Tables, clippers, tubs , floors, etc after each dog...I pride myself in having a very clean and sanitized shop on a daily basis, prior to any new and upcoming possible spread of illness. So please know, that it has gone to the next level of cleaning even more so than we already do. For this exact reason, I have never allowed dogs from different homes to be together on the floor when they are not on a table being groomed or in a tub being bathed, and find more peace of mind knowing all of my clients are separated into their own space for not only their safety, but for their health as well!

What I am going to ask of you, before you step foot into the shop with your dogs, beginning immediately, is to NOT bring your dog for a grooming appointment if your dog is not at 100% health the days prior and day of, to your scheduled grooming appointment. Coughing/sneezing/lethargic/throwing up/diarrhea etc..be mindful of these symptoms prior to your appt. and please call and reschedule when your dog is feeling 100%. Beginning tomorrow, before I allow your furbaby into my shop, I will assess and ask questions about your dogs health before they are allowed in. It is my due diligence for all of my clients protection to do so. Just use your best judgment, you will know if your dog is not up to par and be respectful to the other clients who are.

I can say in full faith, I am not worried at this current time that this is something to get worried about, but it is something on both our parts to be mindful of, and for my staff and I to do everything we can to make sure all of our clients continue to stay healthy!

Tomorrow I will be in contact with all of our local veterinarians to see if they have yet to see the illness here in our hometown and will continue to do so in the days to come.

Please know that I have your furbabies best interest at heart and will absolutely do everything in my power, under my roof, to make sure they are as safe and as healthy as when you left them in my care.

He asked for me to tell all the little girls and boys to write him letters of what they would like for Christmas and put them inside this box with their return address, so he can write them a special letter back! Good evening! I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, that we are officially into the Hustle and Bustle of the Hoilday Rush! If you call to book during business hours and we can't step away from what we are doing at that specific moment, please leave a voice mail and or send a message via messanger and I will contact you back. With that being said, there are very few holiday appointments up for grabs before Christmas as most have prebooked at their last appointment. I do have a cancelation list if appointments become available and those will be on a first come first serve basis. If I call that day and you can make it, great, if you can't, I will go down to the next person in line; so on and so forth. If you can not make your scheduled appointment for any reason, please give me at least 24 hour notice, so I can then contact clients on the cancelation list. Help me, help you! If you know you want your furbabies groomed before Christmas, call and schedule those appointments now, please do not wait until last minute. I do not want to have to tell anyone I can't fit you in.

When you come in for your grooming appointment, please be patient with us, as it's our BUSIEST time of year and somedays we may be running a little behind due to the daily incoming call volume alone.
I know everyone is used to getting their babies back in a timely manner for the most part, so please bare with us. It's the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year and we can't wait to make your babies look their part! See everyone soon!
