We have had WAY TOO MUCH FUN with all of our guests!!!

We started by making an amazing meal with ground Venison, Butternut Squash, Organic Peas, Quinoa and then topping with some locally grown Blueberries 🫐

Then we got to hang out with these amazing furry friends and watch them have a great day!!!

Then I may have gone a little nuts playing with the photo “backgrounds” 🤣😂

Meet Ryder 🐾💕 who is up for adoption with The Doggie House Lawrenceburg Animal Sanctuary.

You may recognize him from our Thanksgiving post or from a training post a couple of weeks ago…it’s now time to help him find his forever home 🏠

Ryder has been in the shelter for most of his life (3 years). We were blessed that Ginger at The Doggie House entrusted us to bring him “home” with us so we could put him through basic obedience training (he is a rock star)⭐️!!!

I will be posting a video of him going through the paces after this….

Now comes hard part (at least for us)…we have to let him go so YOU can have the opportunity to adopt this love ❤️

Please reach out to Ginger (931-244-0265) at The Doggie House and let’s get this sweetheart adopted!!! Whoever adopts him will get 2 Private Lessons with us so we can train his new owner on what he has been taught.

He has an affinity for women (as you will see from a “belly rub” video) 💕. At our facility he has done well with other dogs…he is definitely a lover 🥰. He is such a loving boy who deserves his forever home 🐾💕🐾💕

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our Grooming Team…Sherri Sargent!!

Sherri and her husband relocated to Pulaski from Las Vegas, Nevada this year…and we are so happy she did 🥰

I asked her how she came into wanting to be a Groomer (and a Certified one, which requires 250 hours of hands on training AFTER course requirements, testing and mastering high industry standards)…

My Grooming Story
My passion for grooming started as a young girl in the 70’s when my sister and I would visit our Aunt and Uncle every summer. They owned a pet & grooming shop where my sister and I would go with them every day to help out at the shop, bathing and drying the dogs so my cousin could groom them. I always had a passion and love for animals so going to my Aunt and Uncle’s every summer to help out at the shop was the highlight of my summer vacations!! I vowed that I would become a groomer someday because I loved the way my cousin made the dogs look so amazing when she was done grooming them.

Fast forward…I got married and had my two little boys, life was happening until one day I decided to make my dream a reality! I went to grooming school in Las Vegas Nevada to fulfill my dream and became a professional certified dog groomer 13 years ago. I still love to see how beautifully I transform my dog friends into little works of art!!

We want to take the opportunity to highlight each of our Groomers over the next week or so!!!

Meet McKenzie Thornton who has been grooming for just over a year and completed her Certification on November 2nd of this year (we are SO PROUD of her)!!!

She has loved 🥰 animals for all of her 26 years. She started telling her parents that she was going to be a groomer at the tender age of 5 yrs old and then over the course of her childhood rescued over 20 dogs 🐶!!!!

She is from Mount Pleasant but as of 6 months ago is calling Lawrenceburg her home. She moved here with her family which includes her husband and daughter as well as her mom!
