❤️🐾It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Why not make their year just as magical, meet the Shelter dogs young and old, big and small we will find a place for all! Interested in adopting? Please send a photo of the dog that you were interested in and details will be given to you. Please text the word Adopt with the photo of the dog you were interested into 502-680-0167 . 🎁🐾Hey, if you’re reading this, can you please tell Santa that we’re here at the shelter this year? We don’t want much for Christmas. We promise we’ll be good.

Starting today until tomorrow at three the shelter is open for adoptions. Some of the dogs here will be spending their first Christmas in an unfamiliar place, and unfortunately, for the older ones, this may be one of their last. These sweet babies have but one wish and that’s to find a loving home for the Holidays.

We are collecting items to fill up their stockings. They are asking for treats, blankets, and toys to comfort them through the season. 🎁🐾

 Want to fill a stocking and this is how you do it. please come to the Shelter tomorrow from 11 to 3. Pick up your stocking. Fill it up and bring it back. Drop off anytime next week from nine to 6 o’clock at the shelter.

We currently have four happy healers, three puppy pointers, One German Shepherd doggo, a dalmatian puppy, 20 crazy cats, three lovely labs, one silly rabbit, two lazy hounds, and a partridge in a pear tree!!!
(Not really, we don’t have a pear tree) 😂

For every puppy adopted, your adoption fee directly helps us save an adult dog in need at the shelter and their adoption fee is sponsored. Please share  The animal shelter needs YOUR help! We need 6 strong fosters who arent afraid to take on a puppy! Puppies are alot of work but we need a couple fosters to welcome a cute cuddly puppy into their homes for a little under a month! Animal Care and Control has been invited to a big adoption event in Louisville in May, so we are only asking if you could keep a puppy until then! It would be such a blessing if you can help the shelter whether it’s fostering, donating, or volunteering. Will you accept the challenge of a puppy?
