Pupdate!!
I couldn’t stop thinking about Uncle Pecos from Tom & Jerry, after I saw Eugene and his lip thing he does. Lol.
His mustache reminded me so much of my pup’s lip.
“Eugene” just didn’t fit my boy, no matter how many times I said it.
So when I told my friend about my “Pecos” idea, she liked it, too.
And then my pup joined in with his agreement.
So…….
Re-introducing…. Pecos!!!!!!
“Mojo” meant magic.
“Pecos” means a place with water. And that’s always been my healing spot.
Very fitting for my boy!! 🩵
He slept for 10 hours last night until I woke him up this morning.
He is so, so happy, so loving, so sweet!!!
These oldies are the best!!! They are so grateful to find their last spot!!

Mojo going for a walk!
Hi! Here’s a quick pupdate on Mojo!!
This cooler weather had Mojo out the door and running for his afternoon walk!!
My boy certainly doesn’t act like he’s gonna be 13.5 years old in a few weeks! That makes him about 94 in people years!
His sprint lasted 53 seconds. Lol I was amazed he passed his favorite set of posts!! lol
It was a much slower return home.
And then he promptly went back to holding down the couch.
It’s all about balance. Lol ⚖️🐾

This distinguished gentleman is Wren, and he is 9-11 yrs old, and weighs 11 lbs. Wren came to us a while back in rough shape. He was tired, worn out and on top of that, heartworm positive. He is currently being treated, and is doing great. Wren just loves a good soft bed, and to be near you, but he also loves a little lap time. Wren likes to hang out at the shelter with his friend Charlotte, so he will have to go to a home with another small dog. As much as he likes people, he likes his furry friends better. PAWS has lots of kittens looking for their furever home. Each kitten is spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and Felv/Fiv tested negative. Stop by to adopted one or two of these little cuties!
What’s more fun than playing in your pool? Playing with the hose while trying to fill the pool. Cole is a 1.5 yr old male that weighs 65 lbs. He loves the water, and can’t wait till the hose comes out , also a big fan of hard chew toys. He walks good on a lead, gets along with other dogs, but a meet and greet is a must. If you have a small pool or a hose, he will be your best friend. ❤️

Candy Cane found some new friends to play with the other day. Dot (white and black) 2 years old, hound mix and Wendy (tricolor) 1 years old, hound mix.
