Holly's Place Animal Rescue, Inc.

Holly's Place Animal Rescue, Inc. Holly's Place Animal Rescue is a sanctuary for special needs cats, with a low-income spay/neuter ass

Holly's Place provides sanctuary for special needs animals, the aged, and other hard-to-adopt. We also tackle the overpopulation problem with a Spay/Neuter Assistance Program, helping people with low-incomes and feral cat colony caretakers get their pets spayed/neutered. While our spay/neuter program currently focuses on KY, our sanctuary animals are in both KY and IL. Holly's Place incorporated in and became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2002.

Sir Winston Churchill's family made a request when the National Trust opened Chartwell to the public in 1966.

They asked that there always be a marmalade cat named Jock in comfortable residence at the house. They even stipulated he has a white bib and four white socks.

The latest incumbent is Jock VII. He arrived in May 2020 as a six month old rescue kitten with a very mischievous character.
