Walter has attachment issues. Attachment = maintaining close spatial contact with nearby attachment figures. Walter vocalizes every time his owner leaves the room, or if he is separated from her by a barrier while she is at home. Walter does not have separation anxiety (anxiety when all humans leave the home). Separation anxiety and hyper-attachment are not related. They are two completely different conditions.

Pigs love to nest. They need lots of nesting materials.

Pigs need non-slip surfaces.

Pigs can be very physically aggressive, especially during new introductions. Introductions take TIME. No pigs were injured here. They were quickly separated.

Anxiety and stress response secondary to cage guarding in a white capped Pionus. We treat birds too.
