Lawrence County Humane Society Lawrence County Humane Society in Lawrenceville Illinois is a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) shelter which takes in, cares for, and finds homes for homeless pets.

We were established in Sept of 1993 by Linda Collier, our goal is to help the abandoned and abused animals of Lawrence County, and reunite lost dogs with their owners, and to help the pet owners and the public realize how important it is to have all animals spade or neutered. We are a Non-profit 501 (c) (3), we are not City, State or County funded, and we rely solely on donations, from the communi

ty and our supporters and grants that we can qualify/apply for. Dear Santa
I am Buddy. I am back at Lawrence County Humane Society. My dog friend and I want to have a great Christmas. So please, under the tree, can you leave some Dog Chow the one in the green bag that is chicken and pedigree can dog food. I want some Pup-peroni or carryout dog treats. The LCHS needs Hefty strong 30 gallons trash bags, Fabulous purple, bleach and clay cat litter redbag from Walmart. If you would like to see what the cats are looking for, see the list that Helen made. You can leave the presents under the pole barn carport, Ohio, and route one.

I am Helen, aka Stretch two. I am about 1 year old and looking for a home. A family is what I want most for Christmas; but, all the cats at the Humane Society have a list.
1. Cat Chow (blue bag)
2. Friskies can cat food
3. Temptation cat treats
4. Little toy balls to chase

Buddy is a small Terrier Corgi mix. He is 3 years old. He is looking for a new home, the best little buddy. Great with small dogs. Seems to be okay with cats and older kids. He has an underbite and will require soft food in his regular diet. Call Linda for more information 618-943-5368.
