Attention juniors. We are having a one time event. It will be, "Intro to dog sports" and it is free to children between the ages of 8 and 18. This is a 6-week class and it will begin this Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Classes will be on 4/5, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, and 5/17. There will be no class on 4/12. If you haven't registered, please let us know that you will be coming so the instructor will know how many to expect.

Wanted to share: photos coming! Wasn’t sure how to post in the group!

Lawrenceville Georgia AKC Open shows have not disappointed!!!We have felt very welcome and have been amazed at the huge turn out any where from 14-29 FSS dogs per show! Wowzer thank you FSS Open and Misc dogs for showing up!!!
Thank you to Lawrenceville Kennel Club and Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club for hosting such an amazing first FSS Open show series in Georgia! Looking forward to a bright and productive future for our Open breeds!
Prizes were amazing from Glass Cookie jars, to dog beds to water pails! The competition for these shows was stiff and congrats to all the winners and even those that just loved their dogs and had FUN!
Any one that has photos please share! We met at least 5/6 judges that had never seen a Teddy Roosevelt Terrier…what a nice opportunity to do some judge education for our breed!
We were so proud of our Teddies this last week and thank you Mandi Politino-Dickey and Sophia Politino for representing my Kennel so well! We walked away with 4 Best in Shows with various Teddies!

1. Mr Riggs was awarded Best of Open Show under the honorable Judge Dominic Carota ! What was amazing was that Mr. Carota got to see a Teddy for his first time and had some really nice compliments for our dogs! Riggs also went on to win at least 3 Best of Misc group wins. It got hard to keep up with it all!

2. Otto was awarded Best of Open Show after a year of not showing Under Judge Mrs Sharon Ann Redmer! She loved him and his fun personality! He was a rock star there was 25 dogs showing ! Never missed a beat was proud to be in the ring!

3. Sweet Didi was awarded Best of Open Show under Judge Mrs. Lou Ann King this was her first time ever seeing a Teddy…there were 27 dogs showing! So many nice compliments about Miss Didi from the judge! She also got several Best of Opposites of my sweet girl who had not shown in a year! Wowzer she rocked it too!

4. YES we have a fourth Best in Open Show will let someone else share.

***For my Kennel I was very proud that the judges saw something they liked in several of our dogs! This show was all about getting some other dogs out that had not been out in a while! The girls took time about taking Best of opposite with two girls taking Best of Breed over the males. Didi, Mystery, Zee and Dusty showed with lots of wins for their breed! Thank you to the Peruvian junior handler that helped us and the Bolanka folks that helped get my girls in the ring! It takes a family/team to make it all happen this FSS/Open group made it a wonderful weekend! Thank you everyone that helped make this event a huge success! Photos are hard to get when we are all so busy.

❗️⚠️URGENT NOTICE!⚠️❗️

If you have purchased the Irish Rover Advent Calendar from Costco please stop feeding these treats immediately! It has come to our attention there is an issue with this product. Unfortunately we are seeing affected pets through our emergency services this evening and wanted to share this information as soon as possible to hopefully prevent further incidences.

Costco and Irish Rover are contacting pet owners directly to indicate that the product does not meet their standards as there have been reports of dogs becoming ill following ingestion of these treats.

Symptoms reported thus far include:

🔺 Diarrhea

🔺 Vomiting

🔺 Lethargy

🔺 Decreased or Loss of Appetite

If your dog is experiencing any symptoms after consuming the contaminated treats, please contact your veterinarian or closest veterinary emergency services.

We had a great time at our Dog days of December event. Congratulations to all of the dogs who earned their trick dog titles and CGC certifications. Also, we had lots of new title holders in our Jingle dog jog/FastCAT event. So happy to see all of the pups that took advantage of the photos with Santa. Feel free to post your photos in the comments. All in all it was a great event. Thanks to everyone who came out to play and most of all thanks to all of the volunteers that made this happen.

Registration is open for upcoming group training classes starting on November 4, 2019 for our Session II.

Advanced Manners make up class tonight at 8. Suwanee Town Center, meet at Pooch and Paws pet store. We will run through the exercises in prep for CGCA and CGCA test Saturday at 10 am. Look forward to seeing everyone!
Good to see everyone out at the LKC tent at Woofstock.. Han and Max had a great time and did some fun lure coursing

Training with LKC has made it possible to take these boys and do the fun stuff.. Thanks to all of the trainers that have worked with us in classes for the last year and a few months
