Squeakers' Rattery

Squeakers' Rattery I'm a rat breeder who specializes mainly in siamese, marten, and berkshire rats, with both standard and dumbo ears as well as velveteen coats.

Just FYI, since I still get messages on this page- I am no longer breeding rats, and haven't for a few years now.

Honestly I should have posted this to this page first and just shared it in GA Rat Breeders but, well.

We've got a bunch of rats available ;'D

Our two recent litters are by now old enough and ready to go! We've got Martens and Siamese, + a hairless boy!

DM me if interested in them! All are $20 each, except the hairless, which is $25.

Note though- as I very often am contacted by people interested in specific rats who sometimes wait weeks+ or even never follow up, and I end up having to hold on to the rat for a long while, ending up spending more to feed it than I will get back,

All rats will now go on a "first to come and pick up, first served" policy. I will hold/reserve a rat for half the price of the rat paid upfront, + 5 per extra week I have to hold onto it. This is non-refundable if you change your mind, as I could have given the rat to someone else during that time.

The initial half-price deposit will subtract from the price of the rat you pay upon picking up, however the extra weekly payment does not. i.e. You pay $10 for a $20 rat, then $15 to hold it for 3 extra weeks. You pay $10 upon pickup.

This is not me trying to be 'greedy for money' or anything. But for every rat I have to hold for someone, that is money I am spending to feed it, for potentially weeks, when I could have given it to someone else already. I have /a lot/ of rats to feed, to the point I go through rat food very quickly, thus having to hold onto babies for a long while means I go through food even faster, and spend more on it.

So, from now on, my rats are first come, first served, unless paying a deposit + holding fee, with a set pickup date.

Anyone who I am already currently holding a rat for, I will continue to do so, however the new policy will apply to any future adopters.

The second litter of our two newest litters, a bunch of siamese babies + two hairless! A few seem to be dumbo-eared as well. They are currently 2 weeks old. The siamese will be aevailable around 8 weeks, as I'm holding them longer to see their points develop so I can decide which ones will be holdbacks, but the hairless will be available at 5-6 weeks.

One of our two newest litters, a bunch of little martens and a few berkshire babies! A few of them are also velveteen!

The marten babies will also be pointed once they grow up, as their father is siamese!

The litter is now old enough for adoption!

There are 7 babies left total, however 3 are siamese I am holding back for now, leaving 4 available for adoption.

They are all selfs, three black and one gray, and one of the black selfs has dumbo ears. Message if interested and for pictures!

The first litter in months has been born! We went a few months without the females breeding, but finally we've got a litter after a long while of trying, and I believe another one on the way!

Both the current and potentially upcoming litter are black self x black self, both of which had a siamese parent and a dumbo-eared parent. Likely to end up with siamese babies, potential for dumbo siamese!

The two remaining males of the litter have been adopted!

There are multiple females left!

I have a litter currently available, standard siamese x dumbo berkshire, babies are a mix of black and gray berkshire, black self, and many are blazed. One blazed + gray variegated baby.

All save for two of the selfs are available for adoption! Note, I will not sell any of my rats alone unless you can provide proof of already owning a rat of the same s*x.

I'm asking $15 per for the berkshire, blazed, etc babies, and $20 for the selfs, of which two are available to be adopted(both female) and two(1 male, + 1 female) will be held back for future breeding.

Will post images soon or upon request... there's a lot of babies to take pictures of. For now, here's one pic of one of the babies, the gray blazed/variegated!
