Attention: As the upcoming hunting season commences in the western region and approaches in Missouri, please note the following adjustments. Due to recent changes in my daily routine, I will prioritize completing my existing workload to ensure timely delivery to customers awaiting their trophies. Consequently, I will only accept a limited number of new projects during this hunting season. My operational hours will be restricted and variable, subject to family obligations. An updated price list will be available on my website, Wrtaxidermy.com, in the coming days, along with temporary adjustments until my backlog is cleared. Here is my 2025 Competition piece. This is my personal Nyala Bull from South Africa. I was honored to receive the Breakthrough Award, Judge’s choice for Best of Show. Also received North American Champion, Large Life size Mammal. First place Gold medallion for Natural Habitat and Second place Silver medallion for Challenge of the Arts.

More meaningful to me was receiving all of the compliments from the other competitors who also were in attendance at the show.  Thank you!!!

Been a busy year already with many new life experiences and demanding work schedules for both of us. My wife and I had the chance to go turkey hunting on Easter Sunday evening. We glassed up this lonesome tom feeding. Sneaked in behind him and with a few calls he came in to 15 yards. Sure was a great time to be out in the woods and fields watching and hearing all of spring time wildlife.

With a very busy fall hunting season underway. I need to share my upcoming schedule for Wildlife Reflections Taxidermy Studio.

My wife will be having an eye surgery for her continuing recovery tomorrow morning. I should be available Friday afternoon into the evening. Saturday I will be available midday, 10:30 to 3:00.Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for her while she is recovering.

I will be having a surgery on December 13th and will be closed for a couple of days. I’m hoping to be open on Wednesday, December 18th. It will be on a limited basis and by appointment only through the remaining days 2024.

Hopefully as we ring in the New Year, my recovery will be speedy and I will return to normal business practices.

A very successful Wyoming antelope hunting trip. The entire family was able to draw tags. It was fun to pass along the experiences I have learned in the past while hunting out west.

Both kids did great on their stalks, they made amazing long range shots. Even with moderate winds playing effects on a couple of bullets.

My wife and I were able to put on an epic stalk for her antelope. Spotted him and his does down in a wash over 1/2 mile away. Closing the distance to less than 100 yards for an easy off hand chip shot.

We found my antelope sound sleep mid morning. I was able to stalk into 350 yards to find his group of does watching his down range side. With minimal cover options I chose to set up for my shot. He stood up to check his does. As they milled around and started to move he presented a broadside shot. I was able watch him drop after the shot.
