Congrats to his owner!

D'Artagnan HC (Inamorato/Eisenherz/Buddenbrock/Fandango) was just approved today as a breeding stallion with the American Trakehner Association! Here with his marvelous handler and current trainer Jess Schneider! Huge shout out to his breeder Shelly Green of Hidden Creek Ranch Sporthorses, his ground training and c**t starting trainer Ruth Holmes, his Oldenburg handler Patty Hall, and all of his fans who have rooted him on and loved him through his early years! D'Artagnan is now approved both ATA and Oldenburg!

- we blanket our horses if they get wet and it drops below 50 degrees

- we blanket our senior horses once it gets below 40 degrees to help them from burning precious calories and hold weight

- we blanket all other horses once it drops below 30 degrees and it is consistent freezing temps in the winter, yes it gets very cold in FL

---use breathable and waterproof blankets

Due to high humidity, your horse feels the cold much more than a low humidity environment, and since our weather is extreme, one day is 70 the next day it's 30.

Happy Thanksgiving

Why I'm thankful for horses this Thanksgiving is horses are extremely beneficial to our health and physical condition. Think of all the miles you’ve walked leading horses out to their fields or paddocks and back, and all the weight-lifting you’ve done carrying buckets, hay bales, saddles, and other impressively hefty items of equine paraphernalia.

Even beyond the physical advantages, the company of horses has been proven to improve your mental and emotional state as well—something we all know from firsthand experience! Many programs have proven the benefit that horse companionship provides to countless individuals.

Why out to see our favorite approved Trakehaner Stallion at his next trainer for dressage. He was such a great boy and of course gorgeous!

Thanks to Jess for letting us come out and assisting you on his rides. We will continue to follow this guy and his career.
