Please be careful with yourselves and your pups! It’s too hot for anyone to be outside for very long. Make sure you’re all hydrating and taking in electrolytes!

🌡️ ☀️ Know the Signs of Heatstroke in Dogs ☀️🌡️

As temperatures rise, it's crucial to keep an eye on our furry friends for signs of heatstroke. Watch out for:

🐾 Excessive panting
🐾 Drooling
🐾 Rapid heartbeat
🐾 Lethargy
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 Confusion or dizziness

If you notice any of these symptoms, move your dog to a cool place, offer water, and contact your vet immediately. Stay safe and keep your pets cool!

Bubbles & Penny are a sibling pair that came to us because they were fighting and could not be in the same room together! Their parents are a Mother/Daughter combo who needed our help ASAP to prevent anymore fights or having to rehome one of their pups.

This is unfortunately a story we hear all too often. Thankfully their owners love them so much that they found us to help get the girls on a better path to a more peaceful household! Bubbles is a Pit mix that was often the aggressor in their fights, however after a few days of training she began to relax and change her ways. Penny was a timid Heeler mix that lacked confidence, which caused her to be fearful & reactive to humans/dogs.

Both pups became better in their own ways after completing their training programs and now they have the support of TPK9 for the rest of their pups lives due to our Lifetime Guaranteed Board & Training Programs! Come join the Thunder Paw K9 Family today!

If you’re in OKC looking for a place to eat with your pups, then look no further than Pub W! They were very friendly, had great food, gave our clients dog some fresh ice water, and also offered us their Pubby Menu for dogs! They have many locations in the OKC/Surrounding areas too! We will definitely be going back again soon!

Little Miss Althea the 6 month old Belgian Malinois showed just how smart her breed is by learning all of her commands in Japanese during her 2 week board & train program! She is undergoing regular PTSD Service training for her mother who is in the military. We were able to source Althea as a tiny puppy from Freedom Belgian Malinois! We have trained 1 other from them and we LOVE the care Kathy gives her pups! Everyday with this girl was so much fun! We can’t wait to see her again for more training!
