Purebred Great Pyrenees livestock guardian puppies looking for homesteads. 2 female, 4 male. Raised as a family with both mom and dad as they work guarding our rabbits, chickens and goats. Parents are outside only working dogs. They are excellent, beautiful dogs that have only ever been 100% healthy. Mom is 5 years old dad is 3.

Remember those baby chicks we were keeping in our bathroom back when it was too cold and they were too young?

Well they have turned into beautiful birds. This roo is the favorite, not at all a jerk like Chanticleer or Caspian.

So far I've just been calling him my friend/buddy but I think it's time he recieve a proper name. Suggestions?

We taught puppies how to lap up milk last night. Quick learners!

Feeding times have reduced drastically, they're getting more this way, and it gives mama a nice break from 9 little vampires.

We're prepping the outdoor space for them to move soon!

Last week our gorgeous Speckled Sussex Rooster, named Chanticleer, unexpectedly died.

Although he was a real jerk to us, Chanticleer did a great job taking care of our 12 hens.

Only a few days later, we found someone giving away a purebred Speckled Sussex Rooster for free!

Introducing Caspian (pictured) who is only 16 weeks old, yet already bringing unity, order, and protection back to the flock.

He's much nicer than Chanticleer and has a beautiful, clean crow!

Here's to going through the typical life and death experiences of a farm, another free animal, and hoping you don't turn into a real jerk.

She's hunkered down in one of the "caves" in our field.

For those who have been asking for an update....

Still no puppies!

Our calculations were not off, we're just wondering if maybe their first tie wasn't exactly the DOC.

Lacey is moving around less and less, don't blame her.

Fingers crossed it's soon!
