we understand someone’s misgivings about pet boarding but rest assured our management and staff is completely dedicated to providing the highest level of care to every dog left in our care. We look forward to meeting you and your dog or other pet. Located near the border of Syracuse and Layton, come by to check out our awesome daycare facilities! We also offer pet grooming and an assortment of pet accessories. Simply put, we love animals. It’s the reason we got into this business and the reason we’re good at what we do. With pets in mind we’ve built and continue to maintain an excellent daycare and grooming facility in the Syracuse and Layton area. Dogs are able to roam freely in large spaces, both indoors and outdoors. We even have a separate room for smaller dogs. We offer overnight luxury lodging. And if your dog needs it we have private rooms available. Our daycare also features a large jungle gym for feline guests. And for comfort during the night they can stay in a private room.

We’re proud to share that TeAnna, CEO of The Bark Spot, has been selected to serve on the Utah Professional Pet Groomers Association board as the Education Coordinator for 2026 🐶✂️

With over 20 years of experience in grooming, boarding, daycare, and staff training, TeAnna will be helping plan and coordinate continuing education, workshops, and education weekends for groomers across Utah. Education and proper training have always been a cornerstone of how we operate at The Bark Spot, and this role aligns perfectly with our commitment to professionalism and growth within the industry.

We’re excited to see her contribute to the broader grooming community and help elevate education standards statewide. Congratulations on this well-deserved role!

Marley is a Chow Chow, one of the oldest dog breeds used for hunting and pulling carts in ancient China.
