I'm very sorry for delays and lack of updates. My son is getting married this weekend and im fighting a cold so the rescue is closed to the public the rest of the week. I will have updates for everyone on our hay/vet bill progress next week. Thank you for your patience and enjoy some pics of our great volunteers.
Painting With Ponies was a big success. Thank you to all the volunteers and the participants that came out. Without everyone's help this wouldn't have happened. Huge thank you to Silver Saguaro , Scott, Debra, Justin, and James for all the building, planning, and teaching. Animals loved it and so did all the people. Precious, Eeyore, and Twilight made great models. All funds are going towards our hay fund.
We are looking for help with an emergency veterinary bill. Due to unforseen circumstances one of our rescues got injured. It looks better now and only required a few stitches and some pain meds but it's a bill we weren't ready for. If anyone would like to help us with this bill it would help a lot. We survive on donations alone and it takes everyone who follows us to help. The before pic is bad but the after looks great. We just want to be transparent with our followers. Well the weekend turned out great for the Andrew's Heavenly Horse Rescue . We raise a lot for the first load of hay and we won 3rd place in the Individual category for the parade. Everyone had fun and the minis got socialized and all did great. Below are some of the pictures from set up clear to the end. Videos of my volunteers rocking the compatition to follow

Yay for our rescue
1🥕5🥕8🥕9 is still needed to get our 1st load of hay. We did great raising funds last weekend and will be out and about in Leadville for our towns Boom Days Events. Meet our Miniatures. Get a photo taken with one. See us in the parade and down at the mining events. Be sure to keep donating as well. Our rescue volunteers will also be running the Kid's Hand Mucking on Sunday so bring you Littles down for some fun. Thank you for your support.
Lots of updates to share. After our pony rides and Matchless Mine visit and extra donations we are currently at 1🥕5🥕8🥕9 still needed for our first load of small bales. Please keep donating as we are getting low on our hay. We love our followers and volunteers and know we can do this. We have another week to reach this goal now by August 5th. We will also be around town with our Miniatures for Boom Days weekend so no Pony Rides this Saturday as the rescue is closed August 2nd to the 5th. Come meet our mini donkeys and Ponies this weekend and donate to the rescue if you can.

We had a busy day with our new pony rides from 10 to 12 (weather permitting) on Saturdays now and our Matchless Mine visit with our Miniature Donkeys. Very productive. Here are some pictures of the mine visit. Don't forget we will be in town next weekend with our minis for our local Boom Days event. Watch for us in the parade then at the Kid's Events, and finally down at the mining events all on Saturday.

We are now offering pony rides on Saturdays from 10 to noon until the end of August weather permitting. If you are interested please message us or come out to see our rescue and all the hard work we are doing. We have received an update from our hay provider on the small bales. They will be able to bring us 250 bales at a cheaper price. The new balance is a bit more but we are getting 30 more bales. The load will be 3🥕2🥕0🥕0. We have raised some of it already so our balance that we still need is now 2🥕7🥕9🥕0 We can still raise it. We have til the 27th. Please donate if you can. Anything helps us. It takes a village to save these creatures and it doesn't stop at the auction/kill pen. There is always a need for donations to provide the care they need. Our village of followers and volunteers are strong and passionate. I know we can do it.

Thanks to our followers who have supported us and donated to our amazing rescues. We have some great volunteers and trainers this year so things are progressing fast. We have completed so many great fundraisers for our Farrier work and getting everyone dewormed and vaccinated so far. Now we are moving on to our biggest fundraiser every year. We are getting our first load of hay in a couple weeks if we can raise enough money. All total we will need 1🥕4🥕0🥕0🥕0 or a donor of hay to get the hay we need for the year. With this being such a large amount we are hoping to break it down per load. Our first load is 220 small bales. This is 3🥕0🥕0🥕0 before it arrives in 2 weeks. With this we just need 60 of our followers to donate 50 bucks each. Or all of our followers to donate 10 bucks. Even somewhere in the middle would help us. I know we can raise it because our followers have the same drive to give these rescues a better life as we do. We have to raise the money by the 25th to get our load on the 27th. It is coming from out of state so our hauler won't head this way unless we have money in hand. Please help if you can. This is our hardest item to raise funds for but it is one of the most important things we need every year. Please donate now so we can keep everyone's bellies nice and full.

After a long day of work, we were able to relax with a few of the volunteers who helped today and do more pony rides. My phone died before the pony rides but others got some shots. Thank you to all the helpers today.
Today is full of new things and finishing projects. Our biggest project this summer is to redo the floor in the main barn. We poured the concrete for the center isle and once dry we will be bringing in dirt for the individual stalls in the main barn and the mini barn. Big shout out to all our volunteers that came to help. It takes a village to save these lives. Eeyore is showing off his new fly mask and supervising everyone.

YIPPEE!!!!!!! Our Texas 8 fundraiser is complete. We had a donation from our visitors this weekend and that brought us down to 6🥕9🥕4. Then we had an Angel donor send us the rest so we can move on to our more important fundraisers. There are truly Angels among us. Thank you to everyone who helped us save these amazing animals and get them from Texas to Colorado. It takes a village to do this and we have some amazing people in our village. Bless you all.

Our goats name willbe announced tomorrow. Well we had a surprise with our new arrival at the ranch. We were hoping people would want to help us name our new goat but nothing so now we will try it without donations. Please list the name you want for her in the comments. We will be posting on each of our training pairs and let you know the progress of their training. Our first pair is Buddy and Ashlee. Ashlee started working with Buddy in May. He has been haltered and leads well before this but Ashlee has been able to get him to let us work on his feet, saddle, and put a bit in his mouth. Next we will be trying sand bags to get him use to weight.

Great news today. Our automatic waterers have finally thawed out after almost 2 months of hauling water. We are all so happy here at the rescue. Next is to clean them out.
