No matter their DNA we think every dog is a mountain dog. They are mixed up mutts of every color, size and style. They are rough and rowdy and ready for adventure - wherever the trail might lead. They love car rides and lake swims and lounging in the sun. They are our dedicated couch companions, snoring snuggle buddies and our favorite furry friends.

We are continuing to update our signage. Thank you for all of the love for our new logo designed by Brad Rich! The logo is the three dogs shared by owners Adam and Elizabeth. Archie, the dachshund lived for 16.5 years and crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019, Lucy our Giant Schnoodle, and Betty White in the center, our foster fail from Leadville/Lake County Animal Shelter. The colors are the palette of our high country sunsets on the Sawatch Range, which we can see from our dog yard.

We have FREE stickers at the register, so be sure to ask for one- or two! We will be keeping our Mountain Dog animated mascot designed by Harperrose Studios as well! We love their artwork, so be sure to stop in and see them on Harrison sometime.

A very happy 7th birthday to our very own Lucy!!! Lucy was rescued in Iowa as a puppy and she is a giant schnoodle. She loves eating marrow bones, playing at Mountain Dogs, and giving bad customer service- but she is committed to getting better.
