We currently are housing 11 homeless dogs and 2 cats that are in local rescues we partner with FREE OF CHARGE. We are able to provide this care due to our association with Sea Dog Inn Pet Resort who lives by the slogan "There's Always Room At The Inn".

You can help us expand our services to more local rescues as well as spay/neuter organizations in 2 ways.

You can support Sea Dog Inn Pet Resort when you need boarding or grooming services so they can continue to offer their facility when temporary housing is needed for a rescued pet. Their website is www.seadoginn.com where you can get info on how they have helped thousands of dogs and cats over the past 30+ years find new homes.

You can contribute directly to our non-profit organization to allow us to offset non-boarding costs and provide grant money to rescues to help with their expenses. Our website is www.seadogsaves.com

Another successful adoption at Sea Dog Saves. This is Brightly who was rescued by Lifeline of Galveston. She and her 3 brothers were brought to Sea Dog Inn Pet Resort for housing until they found a foster or adoption. All 4 puppies were terrified of the world. While in our care we worked with these puppies to help them learn to trust people and know they are safe. Brightly was the first to let her guard down and became very loving and people oriented. She now has a new home! We are continuing to work on her brothers Bolt, Max, and Smokey Joe. Each is beginning to understand that humans can be their friend. Bolt is likely to be the next to completely ready for a foster home or adoption. For info on the three remaining boys contact Lifeline of Galveston at www.lifelinetx.org

We currently are providing boarding for 11 dogs and 2 cats as part of our animal welfare program in partnership with Sea Dog Inn. These pets are awaiting foster or adoption, and we are caring for them at no charge to the person or rescue group that has custody,

We do not only provide housing for these animals, but contribute time to work with them to make them ready for foster or adoption. So far we have had 2 dogs get adopted that needed that extra attention and we may have a 3rd get adopted today.

We do not normally solicit funds but if you would like to make a yearend tax-deductible charitable contribution to help us with the food costs that that will enable us to continue to support our rescue partners in the coming months.

Checks can be mailed to Sea Dog Saves, 310 Ellen Ave, League City, TX 77573. We have a pay pal option with the QR code below. Or if you would like to use a credit card we can take the info over the phone at 281 554-2068. You will be sent a receipt for your tax records if requested.

We appreciate your prayers as well as we work on our strategy to support local rescue groups and spay/neuter programs to solve the homeless pet problem in our area.

We hope to not simply make a point about the issue. We hope to make a difference!

Thru the holiday we were blessed to provide housing for 6 dogs from 3 different rescue groups. Some are waiting for transport and some for a foster or adoption. We are exploring ways we can provide temporary housing and care for dogs that just need some temporary housing in order to get them in a rescue program as well as how our boarding partner Sea Dog Inn Pet Resort can work to encourage folks to foster, adopt, and spay/neuter.

Lifeline of Galveston County rescue team is here with some of their foster families for a large group social/obedience class.

My boarding facility Sea Dog Inn pet resort makes this large fenced yard available to local rescue organizations for activities that will help them place needy dogs. Our peaceful country atmosphere helps the dogs to relax and just enjoy being around other dogs and meeting new people.

We do not charge the rescue groups to use the yard. For additional details email [email protected].

Do you live in Galveston? Are you Interested in Low-No-Cost Spay Neuter. Please send us a message and we can help you out. Unintentional Breeding is something that spay and neuter can fix.

Breeding for profit and those willing to pay the premium prices that encourage these locations to remain operating must stop. The solution is simple, adopt don't shop and support stronger legislation on those breeding for profit.

Now that we have officially launched our program to support local rescue groups by providing FREE temporary boarding for pets while they wait for a foster home or adoption, you may want to help us with expenses by donating to Sea Dog Saves. We are a 501c3 so donations are tax deductible.

Currently we have partnered with Bayou Animal Services & Adoption Center and are in talks with 2 other community shelters to help them with their overcapacity problem. So many dogs and cats need your help.

If you feel you would like to help us to provide our services at no cost to the shelters, please consider making a donation. Any amount is helpful. Here is a QR code to take you to our PayPal account where you can donate. "You may not be able to save them all, but you can save one!"
