As we gather today, I want to send out the warmest wishes for a truly wonderful Thanksgiving. This past year—and the last few years—have been incredibly challenging for so many of us. We’ve faced loss in various forms: jobs, loved ones, friendships, and our beloved fur kids.

But today, I hope we can all pause to focus on what we do have, even in the midst of so much change. Let this day be a gentle reminder to find gratitude in the small moments and the love that still surrounds us.

A little story..

My clients husband was nominated for an Emmy. She and her little (and hubby) were going to be walking the red carpet, and she also needed a sling for a party.

I had her send me pics of her dress, and I shopped fabrics, sent swatches and sketches, adjusted a pattern, and made a dress and leash for the baby to match her ‘evening bag’ carrier to match her dress.
It took me a solid week to make.

I always use USPS..
On Monday I thought this is so important I’m going to use UPS, 3 day shipping. Tracking stated that it will get to CA from TX on Thursday.

On Tuesday I checked tracking and UPS pushed delivery to Friday. I went to their facility, begged them.. can I drive to Houston and get my package back, and overnight it? Change the label? Anything I can do??
No Nothing. No, you can’t upgrade the label once it’s in transport. I spoke with 3 customer service representatives on the phone.

It never made it.
Could have been life changing.

I’ll never use them again.

It was pretty though.. I hope it gets there 💔

My Pomeranian rescue Pinky was my inspiration to design pet gear.

When I first adopted my boy I learned quickly that he had trouble with collars. Like many small breeds, he had a collapsing trachea, so I needed to find an alternative to a collar. I didn't like the way many harnesses fit him. The strappy harnesses seem to cut in on his armpits, and rub on his legs and neck. Many of the chest harnesses still put pressure on his throat. Also, he was a Pomeranian so he is very fluffy, and Velcro wasn't an option, it would get stuck in his fur, and boy did he hate the sound, all of my dogs do.

I have worked in costume and clothing design my entire life, and so I set out to change the wheel and started developing a vest-like no Velcro harness. I wanted something adjustable, and decorative, and fun. I came up with so many pattern ideas, (prototypes if you will) and Pinky test drove them all. I finally settled on what I have found to be the best fitting, most comfortable, adjustable choke free small dog harness available.

It is completely unique to the pet market, and you will only find this adjustable, choke free harness here at Foo Foo Fido. It is a harness vest designed to adjust greatly, use no Velcro, and stay away from your pet’s throat/trachea, with an ergonomic design in even weight distribution and comfort for your pet. The leash attaches at the waist.

Aside from the proprietary design, function and shape, they come in various fabrics and are decorated with patches, trims, laces, studs, buttons and bling and are sure to make a fashion statement everywhere they go.

I also design luxury pet slings, dog carrier bags, step in harnesses and even collars. Each piece is designed with love, and safety, and comfort in mind, every single piece.
