Thru the holiday Sea Dog Saves was blessed to provide housing for 6 dogs from 3 different rescue groups. Some are waiting for transport and some for a foster or adoption. We are exploring ways we can provide temporary housing and care for dogs that just need some temporary housing in order to get them in a rescue program as well as how our boarding partner Sea Dog Inn Pet Resort can work to encourage folks to foster, adopt, and spay/neuter.

This is Cyndi. She is in Bayou Animal Services program and is being fostered by our president at his home. She is spayed and current on all vacs. She is 80% house broken, loves other dogs, and is a a real snuggle bunny once she gets to feel comfortable in a new environment. Loves to sit in the recliner with Howard. So far we have been able to provide temporary boarding for 14 dogs from 3 different rescue groups through our non-profit organization Sea Dog Saves. In addition we are supporting a 4th rescue group by hosting evening training/social classes in our large lighted play yard. So far 2 adoptions have occurred as a result of these social classes.

When you support Sea Dog Inn Pet Resort or Sea Dog Saves you enable us to assist our local rescue groups find new loving homes for dogs in our region.

Now that we have officially launched our program to support local rescue groups by providing FREE temporary boarding for pets while they wait for a foster home or adoption, you may want to help us with expenses by donating to Sea Dog Saves. We are a 501c3 so donations are tax deductible.

Currently we have partnered with Bayou Animal Services & Adoption Center and are in talks with 2 other community shelters to help them with their overcapacity problem. So many dogs and cats need your help.

Update: Owners have retrieved these dogs.

These two dogs were running loose along with a golden retriever in the area off 270 and Webster. We were not able to capture the golden retriever, but these two are now safely at Sea Dog Inn if the owner wants to identify themselves and claim them, we are closed today, but are open from 3 to 4 PM tomorrow. Call us at 281-554-2068 and provide some proof that you are legitimate owner.
