Checking the stragglers for foals - 2 out of four 4 isn’t bad! Unfortunately we were so excited we didn’t get photos of the two that were in foal. Abilene and Emily were empty, and will have to wait until spring.

Håkon took a ride out to see the mares, and to introduce them to our newest filly from Taylor Creek Ranch. She’s a pretty, big filly we call “Arena”. A cousin of our mare Loretta, she’s out of Steven’s favorite mare line.

Holger is really interested in Bigfoot at the moment 🧌 so yesterday after horse chores we all went searching for Bigfoot tracks 👣.
Obviously we had to take photos of everything suspicious we saw so we could examine them later. 🔎

This past weekend Steven and Holger made the trip to Delta, Colorado to visit Taylor Creek Ranch! They dropped off a mare, looked at some horses, visited friends, and brought home a beautiful filly (more on her later). Steven forgot his phone when they went through the pasture of gorgeous mares, but they were better than he even anticipated. Holger was really glad to spend time with Weston, and really sad he didn’t live closer. What a gorgeous place to raise stellar horses!

Happy Birthday to the absolute QUEEN of our life! 🎁🎈🎂👸🏻♥️🐴

We spent the day up north doing a few of her favorite things - farmers’ market with friends, Korean lunch, and antiquing with the boys. Anna’s the best - we’d be chasing our tails without her! 😅😂♥️
