And a little about Tracy:

Multi time world team member and national finalist Tracy Riley has been actively involved in the sport of Agility since 2002, collecting numerous Regional & International medals throughout her career. She has successfully competed in Agility with a variety of dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments.

In the competition ring, her runs are noted for accuracy, consistency and speed! In addition to holding numerous high level titles, Tracy and her canine teammates have earned multiple wins and placements at local, regional, national and international events. Tracy is an experienced trainer who can build drive and focus, think quickly on her feet and handle fast dogs. She is a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who teaches in a clear and simplified manner. Tracy uses positive reinforcement, games, and shaping to build winning behaviors in dogs while teaching their handlers to be consistent and positive. She emphasizes teamwork, consistency, handling skills and most importantly, fun for both handler and dog. In addition, Tracy has extensive experience teaching private lessons, local classes, and seminars throughout the US.

Threadles and Backsides - Monday 5/19 @ 5:30pm
- Taught by Cassie Evans
- Practice/proof threadles and backsides or learn how to teach them if you're just starting out

Novice Coursework - Monday 5/19 @ 7pm or 8pm
- Taught by Marilyn Munger
- We'll have a novice standard course set up
- Will be run like a Comp A class - talk through the course first, then each dog will practice for a few minutes, then each dog will run the whole course

International Coursework - Tuesday 5/20
- Taught by Cassie Evans
- Run on an international course from our trial last year with course design by Petr Pupik (will include contacts)
- We'll talk about handling options first, then each dog will h ace 2-3 turns (depending on class size) of a few minutes each to practice sequences or run the whole course
- This will be the same as the Comp C course that day

Handling Skills and Drills - Thursday 5/22 & 5/29 @ 4:30pm
- Taught by Cassie Evans
- Sign up for either or both sessions
- We'll work on any skill you need a refresher on from Handling class

AKC CGC Evaluation - Thursday 5/22 @ 6pm
- With Debbie Vogel
- For anyone who's dog has the skills on the CGC test but needs to be evaluated

Kelsey has been participating in agility for 23 years. She teaches weekly classes as well as online students. She is a 6 time National Champion with 4 different dogs and 35 time regional champion with 5 different dogs. Kelsey is a 5 time world team member. Kelsey has placed in the top four at the AKC Agility National Finals and the Us Open National Finals, and is a four time UKI Classic winner. Her students have made multiple trips to the podiums at AWC World Team Tryouts, US Open, IFCS and Cynosport. If you have aspirations of qualifying for Nationals or competing at the World Team level, or simply improving your handling skills and training techniques, this seminar is for you!

Canine Fitness classes are BACK!!

We're very excited to be welcoming Steven Tallas to the team as our Canine Fitness instructor. Steven is a Certified Canine Strength and Conditioning Coach (among many other certifications) and has studied under some amazing fitness instructors.

Fitness Foundations is a 6-week class starting Wednesday, November 6 at 7pm.

We’re excited to be hosting a handler fitness seminar, presented by Jenni Westerfeld!

Jenni has been a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist in Austin, Texas for 25 years.

This 2-day workshop is designed to give dog agility handlers the tools with which to increase their own agility by working on core strength, stability and posture. What you learn will be useful not only on the turf, but in your daily lives as well.

The seminar is $150 and will be on October 12 & 13 from 10am-12pm both days (participants will come to both sessions). This is a humans only seminar, so please leave your dogs at home this time!
