A proper deshed on an Maremmano Shephard before & after and the pile of hair when complete.
I can get a fine tooth comb through all of her coat.
If you cannot take a comb and comb the hair without catching a mat, after it has been groomed, then call me. It hasn't been groomed (deshed & demat) properly.

When you ask & pay for a deshed, on your short haired dog you shouldn't have to worry about picking them up with a trail of hair following them.
This is what a pile of deshed hair looks like.
Tons of hair on the floor and no excess hair on the pup.

My day started off great.
But, now, I am in the ER getting 9 stitches. I had a fluke accident taking a pup, taking them off my sofa, and their dewclaw, tore a gash in my shin. After 1 hour of it bleeding, with pressure on it, decided to go the the ER.
Looks lots better now and no more bleeding

So I will be off today to elevate and ice, then back at it tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for understanding that I need to reschedule today's pups.

Recommended brush, comb and de-matters for your pet. Just because it costs more doesn't mean it works better. I've been using these same products for years.
All can be purchased on Amazon for a reasonable price.

Before and after of a doodle who was a matted mess. But, the family has a good excuse. Physical injuries caused them to not be able to brush him or groom him. Plus it took a financial toll on the family. So please do not judge. The pup is happy now and they are starting fresh.

If you cannot pay to get your pet groomed. Speak to your groomer, they may be able to work something out with you. At least I will do my best to take care of you and your pet

It's Gardening Season...USE CAUTION and protect your pets!!!

IS COCOA MULCH TOXIC TO PETS?

This is one of the most common questions concerning cocoa hull beans, and no cocoa hull mulch information should fail to mention its potential toxicity to dogs. Dog owners need to beware when using cocoa shell mulch that the shells do contain varying amounts of two compounds that are toxic to dogs: caffeine and theobromine. The sweet smell of the cocoa mulch is attractive to curious dogs and could be potentially dangerous. If you have animals that have access to mulched areas in your landscape, it's wise to consider using another non-toxic mulch instead. If your dog accidentally ingests cocoa bean hulls, call your vet immediately.

Happy 13th Birthday to my first fur Grandbaby. Truffles is a sassy, adorable, loving, independent dog that has a special spot in everyone's heart. She was purchased as a companion for, my daughter, Nicole and turned into a true service & emotional support dog, by alerting to Nicole's migraines and panic attacks before we knew it was coming.
She has lived in NC, LA & TX a full adventurous life for a deserving pup!
We love the Shiba breed because of her.
