Central Texas SPCA www.CentralTexasSPCa.org. A private, no-kill adoption center, dedicated to finding forever families

We provide shelter, food, medical care, and adoption services for homeless dogs and cats. These services are funded solely by private donations and adoption fees. We receive no government funding and are not contracted as animal control with any local municipality or county. Because we have limited space, seek to provide a homelike environment to the shelter residents, and do not euthanize to make

room for new pets, we cannot accept animal drop offs. All intakes must be pre-arranged by use of our Wait List (found on our website under About Us).

🌟 Sweet Tallulah is coming back tomorrow! 🌟 Her foster home could only keep her for 2 weeks, but in that time, she thrived and showed us just how amazing she is! 💖

🏡 Tallulah is housebroken (not a single accident! 🚫💦), and she knows how to let you know when it’s time to go outside. She loves being with her humans, but does great on her own too. 🐾

🐶 Although she’s not a fan of other dogs, she didn’t let the barking neighbors bother her. She’s calm and composed in every situation! 🚗 Tallulah also rides well in the car and is a total sweetheart with people.

🧸 Note: Stuffed toys don’t stand a chance with her! She’s all about bones and dog chews. 🦴

🚨 We’re urgently looking for a foster in a **no-pet** household to give her a break from shelter life. Some dogs do great in the shelter, but others like Tallulah need that break to thrive. 🙏 If you can open your heart and home, please consider fostering this sweet girl and giving her the chance she deserves! 💖

Domino went to a foster to adopt home back in May of last year. He had an upper respiratory issue that just wouldn’t clear up despite many different medications. Finally a consult at Texas A&M gave us the answers to his health challenge, and although he will always have this problem, his family loved him so much they stuck by his side and made him a permanent member of their family. Now his day is filled with sweet dreams of the good life. Congratulations buddy!

Curtis is a 3-year-old pup who's been waiting patiently for his forever home for over six months. He was previously adopted, but due to his owner’s declining health, Curtis is back in our care, looking for the right family to shower him with the love he deserves. 💙

Curtis is all about the snacks! Whether it's a tasty treat or a cozy snuggle session, this sweet boy knows how to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. He’s also great on a leash, making him the perfect walking companion for strolls around the neighborhood.
