Y’ALL!!!! We made it to the final round!! I’m so excited for our little boutique! We are up against two “big dogs” in the area, but I know a lot of small and mighty little dogs who rule the roost! 😅 I’ll add the link to vote in the comments. Voting is not limited to Liberty Hill, so anyone can vote! If you have time, please help support our little microbusiness! Thank you!! 🥳🩵🐶

Thank you just doesn’t cover it! When we heard the estimate for surgery, I did the math and thought raising $4000 in 3 1/2 days was going to be tough, but y’all did it in barely 2 1/2 days!! So grateful and excited for Bale’s recovery! Thank you for the bottom of my heart! 🩵🙏

After a long almost 4 hr procedure….Bale is out of surgery and doing well! She will be staying overnight at Chez LHAH and going to recovery tomorrow morning with Amy Lessman since she can’t do stairs yet. All of your prayers and well wishes were received! ❤️❤️❤️

Y’all. WE DID IT.

Bale is in surgery this morning!

From the money donated by you amazing people and a partnership with Friends of Williamson County through Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter…….we raised enough money!

I will be sure to update you all on this thread once surgery is over and Bale is in recovery.

I had the pleasure of meeting this dog and her amazingly strong humans yesterday. A friend called in a panic because there was an injured dog at a volunteer tent at Sandy Creek who needed immediate medical attention, and they wanted to know if I knew of any vets that were open on a Saturday afternoon. I spoke with one of the owners to give him directions to Liberty Hill Animal Hospital and could tell how upset he was, so I said I would call the front desk to let them know they were coming and meet him there to help them through the process. I later learned that they had survived the flood but suffered damages to their home which is an RV that is now teetering over a ravine (that hadn't been there prior to the flood) and barely balancing on the edge of a cliff.

Sweet Bale is an 81 pound German Shepherd and was an absolute champion with a veterinarian she had never met! She was so stoic and brave. Never whimpered or showed any resistance while being examined and x-rayed. She even only needed the minimum amount of sedation when the puncture from the break on her leg was stitched up.

The break is not a clean break, and we were on pins and needles waiting to hear if the orthopedic surgeon thought her leg could be repaired surgically or if it would need to be amputated. She is 4 years old and in good shape, and they decided that they can do surgery and save her leg by using a plate to help mend the fractured area. They have ordered the plate, and originally scheduled surgery for Wednesday. The plate is arriving sooner than expected and they just moved up the surgery to Tuesday at 630am which is great for Bale, but we have 24 less hours to raise the funds needed for the surgery.

I rarely post about rescue things on this page, and I know so many people have donated to the flood and resources are scarce right now but every little bit adds up! We really want to help a family who has done everything they can do to literally stay afloat, and we also want to help get this ever-so-lovely girl back on all four feet again!

Please if you are able and willing, donations can be made at the following link, and it’s 100% tax deductible! Thank you so much!

🩵Donation Site for Sandy Creek! 🩵

This just started organically all by itself because of awesome people like you! I’m more than happy to drop it off when I’m volunteering there. They’re doing pretty good on animal supplies, but currently really need of any type of soap (laundry, dish, body) and cleaning supplies-everything from buckets/mops to bleach and multipurpose spray. Also, newer bath towels for bathing as well as older bath towels to make into rags or actual rags. Thank you!

We’re so thankful to our incredible donors who allow us to be able to help out the victims of the severe flooding over the Fourth of July weekend. Because of you, we were able to deliver a truckload of animal feed and supplies to the Sandy Creek neighborhood today.

DONATIONS ARE ALWAYS ACCEPTED! We are only able to say yes to helping people when we have funds in the account. All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3. THANK YOU!

And special thanks again to for the assist!

Does this look familiar to anyone? I found vomit, and I think this is what it was. Please check with your kids and any visitors you may have had at your house recently. Depending on the size of the dog and how much was injested, it could be an urgent matter!

Pic of the vomit in the comments. Please text/call me if you think it came out of your dog. Thank you!
