A little history on The Bear & The Rat!

Hi! I’m Meg, one of the co-founders of ! Thought I’d introduce myself real quick for those of you who may not know me or our story.

The Bear was my dog. He was a Lhasa Apso who growled like a Bear. He lived to be 16 and was a hilarious dog. He’d take food whenever possible. Literally would lunge at the pizza in your hand. And he loved to explore and was an escape artist but he always came back (or was found). He was my best friend starting as a freshman in college on. The Rat was my husband’s dog. He was a Rat Terrier and just the sweetest dog around. Just wanted to hang out with his people, but mainly Matt who he adored.

We have two human kids, 11 & 9 and we started the company before they were born 😳! And we have two current dogs - Barley is the star of our cake mixes and Poopy. They are d***y and fun and ridiculously awesome. That’s Barley with me & his B&R frozen yogurt cup in the pic.

We also have 1 employee with a super cute dog who is obsessed with his human and two partners — they are father-son teams & they rock. Our team’s goal? Make the cleanest, coolest frozen treats, toppers & cake mixes we can because WE LOVE DOGS. Dogs are the best. ♥️ Thank you for supporting our dream. We are grateful for you & your pups!!!!! ♥️

All sizes restocked this Wednesday. Having protection for your dog is so important. Frigid temperatures, heavy water currents, it only takes a second. I had a woman in this weekend who almost lost her dog and it was a close call for herself. You just cat put a price on safety and piece of mind. Can deliver any where from Leavenworth to Moses Lake.
