Teko made it back!! We are so happy to have him again. There just no words to explain how thankful and appreciative we are. What I was told was an impossible mission came together and there is absolutely no way we could have done this without all of you. All the shares, the calls, messages, the angels that made the drive there and back, and the donors. As you can tell we love Teko so much and I couldn't accept his fate. Teko is back at Hope Pet Rescue Center. - you guys lifted a humongous weight off my heart - Jen 😘

We have raised plenty of money for gas for Teko's return. He should be back to the shelter by about 3am. Once again we want to send thanks and great appreciation for everyone's help with everything!!! He will be completely safe here at HOPE.

I've got it figured out!!! I will meet them at the shelter early am and she will start the drive to Nashville. Teko is coming home! For anyone willing to donate gas money that would be awesome. I have a hard time seeing what I see daily with the animals I've kinda lost faith in people but there are true angels out there still good people in the world. The family Hope Pet Rescue Center has is nothing but amazing. Thank you everyone for the offers to help. And why some are upset with me I have only the animals best interest at heart. I will go to the ends of the earth for them. Sometimes no matter how hard we try it just is not a good fit. But enough of that... Teko is coming home nothing but happy tears here!!!!! Update... there are so many amazing people out there! We are working on possible pickup and return. In contact with several willing to help.

oes anyone know of any places that transport dogs? It would be a long long way. Some gas paid for. It would be a 9hr drive so 18hrs both ways to Nashville back to Leavenworth. Nashville is the halfway point between here and North Carolina. He would be coming back to Hope Pet Rescue Center. I know it's a huge ask. I'm trying to save one of our dogs that was adopted out. It's looking like he will be euthanized if I can't get him and it literally has me in tears and it's destroying me. I can't make the drive my car and I health wise would not make it or I would leave now. It's has to be ASAP. The dog is also a very nervous car rider. Yes the daughter will bring him back but can't make it for awhile. for everyone's sanity including Kathryn and Teko we would like to get him ASAP. This was posted before that option became available.

Adoptions for this month have been very low compared to last month. But we cleared out a lot last month and have a whole lot of newbies who needed intake, adjustment time, spay/neuter and vaccinations. We currently have 11 dogs and 30 cats looking for their furrever and purrfect homes. Someone to fit in any household. I will post pics of everyone soon!! Come in to visit, lots of puppy kisses and hugs, purrs from the kitties!! We have an amazing supportive HOPE family I know we can get all these cuties adopted.

We would like to give a huge shout-out to Fort Leavenworth Frontier Heritage Communities for their volunteer work on Friday!! Fresh paint for the dog kennels and our front door. They brought all the supplies. We are very appreciative!!!
