We missed national tri-pawd day! March 3rd was National Tri-pawd day. We have a few favorites that have 3 limbs and are doing great!

Meet Birdie! Birdie was rescued by Dr.Maddux in college, after being used as a breeding dog. Birdie tried to climb a chain-link fence and unfortunately got her back leg stuck. After amputating her leg, Birdie enjoys being the clinic puffball, running around the farm, and going on walks with Dr.Maddux!

Dr.Maddux is our in house large animal veterinarian. after graduating from the University of Missouri with her DVM, she stayed for a year-long internship in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery. Call us to book your appointment with her!
