Excited to watch this one grow.
Ya know, I look at Ringo and I think to myself just how far we have came since 2013. This may seem weird to alot of people but I've only dealt and bought my lines from 3 breeders.

Now, all these years later I'm still trying to put the perfect together so I can go to a show and not feel as if I don't belong. Now, I help my local 4Hers and I enjoy what I do. The feedback I've gotten the past few years has all been great. But.. I still find it difficult when I scroll through the feed and notice that even tho I help out alot of 4H kids, I can't even get a response when acquiring for better stock with "Top Breeders" or They try to sale me culls and charge me a car payment and then turn around and give one of their friends or some kid a top notch animal which they never posted. Or have posted but don't respond till one of their people buy it for them..
It's extremely hard staying in the rabbit business when you feel as if your all alone in such a crowded hobby. Or want to learn and or grow but constantly get ignored. It's no fun for people who spend years trying to show, and finally think they are ready to show and notice that it's going to be a embarrassing experience because nothing but negatives on your animal is going to take place all because these top breeders work together and take over the entire sport and the rest of us are left at the bottom. That's what it seems like. Just because they don't know you. They won't sale you good stock and to me that is killing the hobby.
My rabbitry, is to help build the 4H community around me because it's not currently as popular as showing rabbits in other states or areas are. Where I'm from people have nothing. So helping kids with showing 4H is my top priority. How can people like my rabbitry do that when they try to better their herd and reach out to "Top Breeders" and they want to sale us throw aways? How does that help our hobby? How does that represent your rabbitry which is in print on the pedigree you give knowing your selling culls? Why sale culls to someone who wants to shoe or help others? To me it makes no sense.
People should all work together to build the hobby. Just because you met some off people. Don't mean everyone is off. You don't have to know me. Look at my animals. Obviously I take wht I do seriously.
Thank you to those who took a chance to help my rabbitry grow. Those who give advice and helped me along the way. With that help. I've built my rabbitry with some of the best lines from the same "Top Breeders" who brushed me off. Crazy how that worked out. What you see, is the definition of hard work. Bred. Not bought.
