We just wanted to publicly address a review since we are still having issues with Google accepting our business relocation and they will not approve us as business owners yet. So we are unfortunately unable to respond to this review on Google.
This customer has been a regular no-shower and we have worked with her on many many occasions only charging her for one of those no shows. The only reason we charge for no shows is because it effects the business and the groomer you are scheduled with directly. For context she has no showed 3 times but we charged her for one. We try really hard to work with our regulars on this because we appreciate them.
Said customer has also continuously been over an hour late picking up her dog and, again, this effects the groomer directly. We are not a boarding facility and are not built to be one. So when the groomer has to wait after their shift ends for their dog to get picked up, they need to get paid for their time. This is where the boarding fees come in. The boarding fees are paying the groomer to pet sit your dog. This client has previously been warned about this as well, as she took over an hour to pick up before and she was NOT charged for it, I only gave her a warning that we do charge boarding fees for late pick ups. In her review she is making it appear like she had the groomer only waiting an extra 15 minutes but she was given a 20 minute heads up that her dog would be ready and then the groomer had to wait an hour for her dog to be picked up. We always give clients time and notice to pick up their dogs before boarding fees are added we never just add them without giving warnings of the fees being added. In fact we let late pick ups slide more times than not.
We felt it was important to address this because we do not want current and new clients to think we jump at the chance to add these fees. Trust me, we do not like sitting around and waiting for dogs to be picked up and we HATE charging extra for it. We do not want to have to charge extra for it, from the bottom of our hearts. But our groomers also need to be paid for their time.
The "uneven" hair in the photos she posted is because of the way the coat grows in certain areas on every dog. So if you ever see this on your dogs it's because of the cowlicked fur growth on dogs.

Also all reviews are appreciated ☺️ please leave Facebook and Google reviews of your experience with us. We don't get nearly enough.
