Spay~Neuter~Educate
Nope, not a kitten or puppy... a baby opossum. Sadly, his mom was found deceased and one of our volunteers knew to check her pouch for babies. This is the lone survivor, which was taken to a wildlife rehabber. He was tubed so he can eat and has made it through his first 24 hours! ❤️ Go little fighter!
Four of the ear tipped/fixed cats were released back today at the rural Tifton site and the volunteer fed them. This will be quite the project (there are at least 25 cats here). We just shipped 3 big gravity feeders, so they can keep large amounts of dry food in there. Fortunately they have shelter here. Let's hope we can get them all in before there are any more litters! If anyone wishes to donate to this “special” project, the kitties appreciate it! www.PayPal.me/SpayNeuterCoalition Thank you!
Update: 10yr old + neutered male, possibly deaf, missing several teeth, FIV positive.
Tifton, GA: While the Tifton volunteers were releasing the four cats back that are now fixed/ear tipped, they ran across this new kitty who is friendly. This is a rural spot and we believe him/her to have been dumped here. We’ll get him scanned for a microchip, but we’ll be looking for a GA Rescue that can hopefully help this sweet green eyed kitty. There is no animal control here.
One of many super sweet kitties that are being left behind in a local trailer park that we've worked hard in over the past several years....
We spayed her as a kitten and her owner has now left her. Sadly, this property has been sold and soon all residents will be gone, leaving so many cats behind. We're hoping that some GA cat rescue groups will come forth, so all these cats will not have such a sad future. Anyone able to help?
