This was probably one of my most unique mounts I’ve worked on thus far. I took in this Ram mount that was mounted back in the 1900’s that needed to be cleaned up. Being that it was so old, there was nothing I could do to the actual mount other than take it apart… Now, in todays world, every mount you see is done out of a foam form, but back then, they used the real skull to do a shoulder mount. So I got to work cleaning this skull, getting the horn sheaths off, and degreasing it. It took awhile to get it to this point but I just finished it up and I’d say it turned out pretty well considering what I had to work with!

A big thank you to everyone that has brought me deer this year whether it was a euro mount or shoulder mount! We have definitely beat what we took in last year. With that being said, I still have plenty of room for Shoulder mounts as well as euro mounts so if you are looking to get a mount done, give me a call or text to setup a time to bring it by. I try to achieve high quality and less than a year turn around time. Good Luck the rest of the season!
